The timing of this event, of course, is uncertain, but with advances in technology, we pay close attention to information we receive from the National Weather Service and our Local K8 Weather Team. The safe house is to be used exclusively by the district between the hours of 7am-4pm for our students and staff and we will not have the capacity to accommodate community members until the hours of 4pm-7am. Mohawk Nation: The Piggott School District hopes everyone had a fun and enjoyable Spring Break. This is to notify you that school will be back in session Monday, March 31, 2025 at normal times. We only have 37 school days remaining this school year, so let's make them the very best. Our official last day of school is Thursday, May 22, 2025. Look forward to seeing everyone back tomorrow! Our Elementary Cookbooks are in. If you had already purchased a cookbook it went home with your child today. We have extra cookbooks that are for sale. If you would like to purchase a cookbook please send $20.00 to the school with your child or we will be selling them at Parent Teacher Conference.
This is a reminder that Group Pictures will be taken tomorrow, Tuesday, March 18. The cost of the pictures are $5.00. We will take money for pictures until the end of the school day Thursday.
A tornado warning has been issued for Clay County. The Piggott School District safe house will be open until the warning expires.
Mohawk Nation: With the increasing chances of inclement weather forecasted for tonight, the Piggott School District Safe Shelter will be opened when we receive notification of a Tornado Warning for our area.
