PHS District: Forms for the Spring Vaccine Clinic are being sent home this week and must be returned by April 7th in order for students to receive their vaccines. The vaccines that will be offered are Tdap, Meningococcal, and HPV. All vaccines, with the exception of HPV, are required for school attendance. The Clay County Health Department will administer the vaccines on April 8th. Parents may contact the school nurse with any questions.

Thank you for helping our school and community.
We will take group pictures of all classes in ABC Preschool through sixth grade tomorrow on Tuesday, March 31. They will be 5x7 pictures. We sent home purple forms that said each order and the $5.00 price is due by this Friday, but the forms should have said we will accept money through Thursday for group pictures since we are out of school on Friday. If you don't have the form, it's OK, but please send an envelope or note telling who is ordering and which class picture you want.
Another exciting thing is our 2026 PES yearbooks arrived during spring break and will be distributed soon. If you owe on your child's yearbook, you can send that money in with your student. If you haven't ordered yet, we will accept orders for $40 until we run out of extra yearbooks! Any questions can be directed to Ms. Ellen. Thank you for your suppo

PHS Parents: Just a reminder that Parent-Teacher Conferences are today from 3:30–7:30. Please enter through the cafeteria doors. You may pick up report cards and visit with your student’s teachers. You can also take care of lunch balances and/or pay on past due accounts while you’re here. Los Compadres will be set up with baked potatoes and a variety of toppings, so you can grab supper before heading home! We hope to see you this afternoon!
6th grade will be having a Bake Sale during P/T Conferences. They will be set up by the front office. All proceeds will benefit their field trip, graduation and school dance.
Mohawk Nation: Here are a few reminders--
Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held Thursday, March 19, 2026 at both campuses from 3:30-7:30pm. We encourage all parents/guardians to attend.
The Piggott School District will be closed Friday, March 20-Sunday, March 29, 2026 for Spring Break. We hope everyone has a wonderful Spring Break. School will resume on Monday, March 30, 2026.
Our 3rd grade Reading Night has been scheduled for March 17, from 4:00-6:00.
Mohawk Nation: The all clear has been issued and the safe house is now closed. We appreciate those that came out tonight.
Mohawk Nation: A tornado warning has been issued for Greene, Randolph and Lawrence Counties. The Piggott HS safe house is open for your safety. We ask residents to please sign in upon entry of the facility. We will keep the safe house open until weather alerts are expired.
Mohawk Nation: Inclement weather is in the forecast for Sunday, March 15, 2026. In the event we are issued a tornado warning for our area, the safe house at Piggott HS will be open for the community. We will allow pets but they do have to be in carriers or on leashes. Stay tuned to K8 weather the up to date weather conditions! Go Mohawks!
