The date for the regularly scheduled school board meeting for June has been moved to June 10, 2024 at 5:30pm.
Mohawk Nation:The “Beat the Heat” meeting for Piggott High School outdoor sports will be held at 5:30 PM on Monday, July 29th in the high school cafeteria. Parents and athletes of outdoor sports need to be in attendance.
Mohawk Nation: Reminder, the Arkansas Activities Association Dead Period will begin Monday, June 23 and go through Sunday, July 7. All athletic facilities, courts, and fields are closed to any practices, games, or workouts during this time period. This is a period of time to spend with family, take vacations, etc. We look forward for our athletes to return after this period and be ready to go to work! We are excited to start the 2024 Mohawk Athletic Schedules! Go Mohawks!

Mohawk Nation: Another round of severe weather is scheduled from 4pm tonight until 2am tomorrow morning. In case of inclement weather, we will reopen the safe house on the high school campus. We do ask if you bring any pets that they are crated or on leashes and are secure at all times. We will notify when the safe house is open.

Any 6th grader interested in band next year at PHS needs to come to be tested on instruments. Even if slightly interested, come on up to try it out! You may drop in between any of the times listed below. If none of these times work, reach out asap to schedule a time that works for you! These times/dates are for this week: Tuesday: 8am-12pm or 1:30-3:30pm, Wednesday: 8am-12pm or 1:30pm-3:30pm and Thursday: 8am-12pm. Mohawk Nation: This is the final week of the 2023-24 school year. We want to thank our community and parents for the support you have given and look forward to next school year. The final day of school will be Friday, May 24, 2024 and school WILL DISMISS at 2pm. Wishing all a safe and happy summer!

Mohawk Nation: It is a sad day in Mohawk Nation, Coach Chris Brantley, our girls basketball coach and Athletic Director, who has battled pancreatic cancer, passed away this morning. Please keep Laura, Libby, and Nate Brantley and the rest of the Brantley family in your thoughts and prayers. Counseling services have been made available at Piggott High School for those in need. If you or a loved one needs these services please reach out to the PHS office.
Mohawk Nation: In the event of Tornado Warnings Issued to our area, the Piggott School District Safe House located on the HS Campus will be made available until the threat of weather passes our area. Please park in the Middle Gym parking lot or student parking lot in front of the new gym! Stay safe!

Reminder: BMI screenings for Kdg, 2nd, 4th and 6th grades will be held Monday, May 6. If you do NOT want your child screened, please sign and return the form that was previously sent home. Scoliosis screenings for 6th grade girls will be Monday as well, please make sure they wear a tank top/sports bra.
Just a reminder that Tuesday, April 30, we will be taking group pictures. If you would like a group picture of your child's class please send $5.00 to the elementary. Thank you!
