PHS Parents: If your child participated in the Science Fair, projects are still available to view until 6:00 p.m. in the high school library. You may enter in the doors by the parking lot across from the old gym.
The Elementary Book Fair will be open today until 6:00 p.m. Also, the Book Fair will now be extended until Monday.
Our PES Book Fair is opened Wednesday - Friday of this week until 3:00. On Thursday, February 19, the book fair will also stay opened that day until 6:00 pm.
Mohawk Nation: The Piggott School District will be closed Monday, February 16, 2026 for observance of President's Day. We hope everyone enjoys the three day weekend. Go Mohawks!
PHS Parents and Students: Due to recent inclement weather days, the last day of school is now scheduled for May 20.
To avoid having to also make up a partial day, we will be adding two minutes to each school day for the remainder of the year — one minute in the morning and one minute in the afternoon.
Effective immediately, the high school school day will begin at 7:49 a.m. and the bus bell will ring at 3:16 p.m.
The elementary schedule is not impacted by this change.

On Wednesday, Feb. 11, PES will host our annual Make A Wish fundraiser. For a donation, students will be allowed to wear their pajamas or a hat to school. Thank you for donating, to this great cause!
Reminder: Spring pictures will be tomorrow, Feb. 10. All students will have their picture made. A proof will be sent home at a later date and then orders can be made at that time.
Valentine orders from PACE have been sent out. Please get orders in as soon as possible. The deadline to order is February 10th
Mohawk Nation: Due to the low temperatures and lack of sunlight today, we have decided to push using our snow routes through the remainder of this week. We apologize for any inconvenience but our buses are still having issues in some areas across the district. Hopefully, the next two days will help thaw up the remainder of our routes and we will be back on normal routes on Monday, February 9, 2026. Thank you for you understanding! Go Mohawks!
Mohawk Nation: Warmer temperatures have helped melt some of this ice and snow away, however out of safety for our bus drivers and student riders, we will continue to run snow routes through Wednesday, February 4, 2026. We should be able to return to normal routes on Thursday, February 5, 2026. Go Mohawks!
Good afternoon, FBLA Cookies for a Cause orders have been extended through Friday, February 6. No orders will be accepted after this date. Cookies will be delivered on Friday, February 13. Mohawks Nation: The Piggott School District will be back open on Tuesday, February 3, 2026. We will be running snow routes only tomorrow and will advise when we will return to regular routes. We want to make sure people exercise caution because there may still be some ice patches on the sidewalks and parking lots. We will update everyone over the weekend in regards to school on Monday, February 2, 2026. We will update everyone as to when basketball games will be played when we have that information.
