Mohawk Nation: The Piggott School District will be hosting the 2A East Regional Volleyball Tournament starting Monday, October 19-Wednesday, October 21, 2026. Tickets MUST BE purchased online at GoFan.com for each day sessions. Only AAA cards will be accepted. Due to these tournaments, the Middle Gym will be closed to after school and evening practices during the next two weeks. School will be dismissed early today for our Parent Teacher conferences. Car riders will be dismissed at 1:50 and bus riders will be dismissed at 2:00. The conferences are from 2:15-5:30. Also, we do have school tomorrow, October 15 but will be out for Fall Break Friday, October 16 thru Monday, October 19. We hope everyone has a great weekend!!

PHS Parents: Reminder - Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held this afternoon from 2:15–5:30 p.m. PHS bus riders will be dismissed at 2:07 p.m., followed by car riders approximately 3–4 minutes later.

Mohawk Nation: The Piggott School District will be hosting the 2A-5 District Volleyball tournament today through Wednesday. Admission for the tournament is $5 for adults and students, only AAA passes are accepted. Tonight at 4pm Cedar Ridge v. Midland and Ridgefield Christian v. Mammoth Springs will follow around 6pm. Come out and support these teams! The Lady Mohawks will play at 4pm tomorrow v. the Cedar Ridge/Midland winner.

Mohawk Nation: The Piggott Lady Mohawks have advanced to the District finals and will play 30 minutes after the next semi final match between the Corning Lady Bobcats and Cedar Ridge Lady Wolves. Matches are running about 40 minutes ahead of schedule. Expect the championship game to be played around 3:15.

PHS Parents — Math tutoring will begins this week! Tutoring will be available every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30–4:30.

Admission for both adults and students will be $5. Only AAA passes are accepted. All adults and students ages 5 and above must pay to enter. Information regarding regional and state finals will be published soon. Admission for all of those games have to be purchased online through GoFan. Mohawk Nation: Join me in congratulating Lane Murray, he is the 2026 2A Boys State Golf Champion!!! Way to go Lane! He will now compete in the overall State Championship that will be held October 22, 2026 at Pleasant Valley Country Club in Little Rock.
Flu Clinic Information
Piggott School District will be hosting a flu clinic on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, for students at both Piggott Elementary School and Piggott High School.
Flu clinic forms will be sent home with students on Monday, October 5. Additional copies will also be available in the school offices for anyone who needs one.
If you would like for your child to receive a flu vaccine at school, the form must be completed and returned to the school office by the day of the flu clinic. Students will not be able to receive the vaccine without a completed form.
Please be on the lookout for the form coming home with your child today. If you have any questions or need an additional copy, please contact your child's school office.
