Mohawk Nation: Kait 8 Weather service is reporting severe weather to our West/Northwest. Just a reminder that when a Tornado Warning is issued for Clay County, the Piggott School Safe house will be open for community's peace of mind. We ask everyone sign in as you enter and reminder there is no smoking on school property and if you bring pets they must be kenneled or leashed. We are praying for our communities during these storms!

Monday, April 27, is the last day to order 6th grade graduation pictures. The cost of the digital prints is $25.00.

Mohawk Nation: The Mohawk and Lady Mohawk baseball and softball games that were scheduled at Cross County on Thursday, April 16 have been moved to Wednesday, April 15 at 4:30 to avoid the possible Thunderstorms forecasted for Thursday! Games are still to be played at Cross County in Cherry Valley. Go Mohawks!

PHS District: Forms for the Spring Vaccine Clinic are being sent home this week and must be returned by April 7th in order for students to receive their vaccines. The vaccines that will be offered are Tdap, Meningococcal, and HPV. All vaccines, with the exception of HPV, are required for school attendance. The Clay County Health Department will administer the vaccines on April 8th. Parents may contact the school nurse with any questions.

We will take group pictures of all classes in ABC Preschool through sixth grade tomorrow on Tuesday, March 31. They will be 5x7 pictures. We sent home purple forms that said each order and the $5.00 price is due by this Friday, but the forms should have said we will accept money through Thursday for group pictures since we are out of school on Friday. If you don't have the form, it's OK, but please send an envelope or note telling who is ordering and which class picture you want.
Another exciting thing is our 2026 PES yearbooks arrived during spring break and will be distributed soon. If you owe on your child's yearbook, you can send that money in with your student.
