Mohawk Nation: The Piggott Mohawk baseball game v. Rector today has been postponed due to rain. The game is scheduled to be made up Friday, March 6 at Rector at 4:30pm. Any updates will be sent as soon as released. Go Mohawks!
The Piggott School District has an immediate opening for a cafeteria worker. All interested applicants need to complete an application found on the district website by choosing the menu button and looking under About PSD and clicking on the job opportunity link. Once application is complete send to Hope Burns at hope.burns@piggottschools.net or drop off at the Elementary Campus office.

Next week is Read Across America Week. We will have dress up days for everyone. Monday is wear crazy sock, Tuesday is wear your pajamas, Wednesday is dress up as your favorite book character, Thursday is dress as your favorite holiday and Friday is wear your class color.

Reminder: The daddy/daughter dance will be this Saturday, February 28, from 6:00-8:00 pm, at the High School Middle Gym. The price is $10 per person. You can buy tickets at the Elementary office, High School Office and at the door that night. There will be food, music, dancing and door prizes valued at $25 and up!

PHS Parents: If your child participated in the Science Fair, projects are still available to view until 6:00 p.m. in the high school library. You may enter in the doors by the parking lot across from the old gym.
The Elementary Book Fair will be open today until 6:00 p.m. Also, the Book Fair will now be extended until Monday.
Our PES Book Fair is opened Wednesday - Friday of this week until 3:00. On Thursday, February 19, the book fair will also stay opened that day until 6:00 pm.
Mohawk Nation: The Piggott School District will be closed Monday, February 16, 2026 for observance of President's Day. We hope everyone enjoys the three day weekend. Go Mohawks!
PHS Parents and Students: Due to recent inclement weather days, the last day of school is now scheduled for May 20.
To avoid having to also make up a partial day, we will be adding two minutes to each school day for the remainder of the year — one minute in the morning and one minute in the afternoon.
Effective immediately, the high school school day will begin at 7:49 a.m. and the bus bell will ring at 3:16 p.m.
The elementary schedule is not impacted by this change.

On Wednesday, Feb. 11, PES will host our annual Make A Wish fundraiser. For a donation, students will be allowed to wear their pajamas or a hat to school. Thank you for donating, to this great cause!
Reminder: Spring pictures will be tomorrow, Feb. 10. All students will have their picture made. A proof will be sent home at a later date and then orders can be made at that time.
Valentine orders from PACE have been sent out. Please get orders in as soon as possible. The deadline to order is February 10th
