The Piggott School District is proud to celebrate the recent School Letter Grades released by the Arkansas Department of Education!
Both Piggott Elementary School and Piggott High School received a “C” letter grade, while making HUGE improvements in overall student assessment scores! 📈👏

Our Elementary School continues to make significant progress, finishing just 28.18 points away from a “B” letter grade. The Elementary School has also been designated as a 2026 Arkansas Gem School for sustained improvement.

Our High School demonstrated tremendous growth and is now only 2.32 points away from achieving a “B” letter grade!
These results represent much more than a letter grade. They reflect the hard work, dedication, perseverance, and commitment of our students, teachers, staff, parents, and community.

Mohawk Nation: Reminders--The junior high football games have been pushed back until 6:30pm tonight with the start of the Jr. B game with the Jr. A game to follow approximately 15 minutes after the B game.
Volleyball games tonight start at 4:30. There will be special recognition prior to the Senior varsity game to recognize the Lady Mohawk Alumni former players as we celebrate 100 years of Piggott Mohawks! Hope to see you at these events!
Mohawk Nation: Due to the excessive heat the PeeWee football games v. Corning tonight will start at 6:30pm with the 3rd/4th grade teams and the 5th/6th grade teams will follow around 7:45pm. We are also moving the start time for the Jr. B game v. Manila to 6:30pm on Thursday, September 17, 2026 with the Jr. A game to follow. Please encourage your athletes to get plenty of hydration(water and electrolytes) during these extreme warm days. Let's work together to keep our students safe. Go Mohawks!

- Girls are required to wear a modest dressy blouse/dress. We ask that you do not wear any t-shirts with lettering or any shirt with reflective material (sequins, metallic, ect.)
- Cap and gown pictures will also be taken at this time.
- NO SITTING FEE!!!!!!

- Please send ONE baby photo in an envelope with the senior’s name on the outside.
- If the photo is the only one you have, please make a copy of it and submit the copy.

Mohawk Nation: As we continue to celebrate the 100th year of the Piggott School System, we are now planning to honor the Mohawk alumni of Piggott Lady Mohawk Volleyball. Please help spread the word that Thursday, September 17th will be the alumni night as the Lady Mohawks take on Corning. Alumni will sign in as they enter the New Gym and will be recognized prior to the Senior A game that night. Tomorrow, September 3, all Piggott Elementary students and staff will have their pictures taken for the yearbook.
In a couple of weeks, students will receive a proof of their picture. At that time, parents will have the opportunity to view the photo and place an order for pictures.
