Mohawk Nation: The Mohawk Golf match scheduled for Thursday, August 13, 2026 has been cancelled.

Mohawk Nation: With this being the 100th year of the Piggott School District, we would like to recognize our alumni at certain home athletic events. We ask that you take the time to open the following link and fill out the form and be in attendance at the specified games to be recognized. Our first events will be as follows:
Football recognition--Friday, August 28, 2026. Alumni will be recognized prior to kick off at 6:30pm. Please be at the North endzone by 6:25.
Volleyball recognition--Tuesday, September 8, 2026. Alumni will be recognized prior to the senior high match. Please meet in the gym lobby prior to the senior high match.

Get your first look at the Football and Volleyball Mohawks in action next week as we host the following AAA benefit games.
Junior and Senior Football will be in action against Westside on Monday, August 17, 2026 starting at 6pm. The 7th, Junior and Senior Volleyball teams will be in action v. Corning and Holcomb on Friday, August 21, 2026 starting at 4:30pm. Admission for these events are $5 for all attendees. Senior Adult and Season passes cannot be accepted. This is a AAA Benefit game event and part of the proceeds go to the AAA Catastrophic Insurance fund. Come out and Support our Mohawks!

Mohawk Nation: It's been a great start to the 2026-2027 school year. The Piggott School Board approved the Season Pass for all sports(football, volleyball, basketball, baseball, softball) for the 2026-2027 school year for regular home games. Passes for individuals and couples can be purchased at the District Office, Monday through Friday from 7:30am-3:30pm. Passes are $100 for individual or $175 for couples. Senior adults 65 and older and students receive free admission to all home ballgames. The season passes CANNOT be used for any district, regional, state, or benefit games.

Piggott School staff: Reminder: The back to school staff meeting is tomorrow at 8:00am in the HS cafeteria. Breakfast will be served.

Mohawk Nation: Just a reminder about the Community Wide Pep Rally tonight at 6:30pm in the New Gym. Come out and support members of the football, volleyball, golf, tennis, cheer, and band! Let's make this the year of the Mohawk! Go Mohawks!

Mohawk Nation: Everyone is invited for the annual Community Wide Pep Rally to be held Friday, August 7th at 6:30pm in the New Gym. Meet the members of the football, volleyball, tennis, golf, cheer and band! We would love to see the gym packed out. There will be another surprise for alumni! Come out and support our Mohawks!!!

Mohawk Nation: Any student grades 9-12 interested in being on the Tennis team there will be player meeting on Tuesday, August 4th at 12:45pm in the middle gym.

Reminder: The mandatory heat illness meeting is tonight(7/30/26) at 6:30pm in the HS Cafeteria. All football, golf, tennis, and band parents are encouraged to attend.

Mohawk Nation: The Piggott School District will host its annual Heat Illness Training on Thursday, July 30th at 6:30pm in the High School Cafeteria. This training is for all parents and students who participate in football, golf, tennis, and band. We encourage all parents and students to attend.

Mohawk Nation: There will be a mandatory heat illness and wellness training for all parents and students involved in football on Thursday, July 30, 2026 in the High School Cafeteria at 6:30pm. We look forward to seeing you at the training!

Piggott School District is starting their Summer Feeding Program. You can pick up your meals at the elementary school in the car rider line. This is for every student ages 1-18 years old. Here are the days and times of picking up their meals. June 1 - July 31 Breakfast 8:00-9:00 Lunch 11:30-12:30 M-T-W-Th

Reminder!!
The Fourth Grade Play is TUESDAY at 6:30pm. Students should arrive at their classroom by 6:15 pm. Students will wear their play T-shirt, jeans or jean skirt(girls), and tennis shoes.
We do not charge money to get into the play but donations are appreciated. All money that is raised goes into our 4th grade account and helps cover the cost of incentives throughout the year.
After the play and awards ceremony we are done with 4th grade!! 😊 Have a great summer!!

PHS 7th & 8th Grade Parents: - If your student is being checked out after testing tomorrow and Tuesday, please pick them up at the cafeteria doors. To keep things moving for families and the office, please line up from Poplar Street and drive up to the cafeteria doors. After seeing/speaking with you, we will call your child out. Parents may only pick up their own child unless other arrangements have been made ahead of time. - If your student is being checked out anytime after 10:15, please come to the high school office, as usual. Below is the testing schedule for Monday and Tuesday: Monday 5/18 8-8:50 - English, 9-9:50 - Geography & History, Tuesday 5/19 8-8:50 - Math, 9-9:50 - Science

Mohawk Nation: As we wind down another great year at the Piggott School District, we want to thank you for entrusting your child(ren) into our care. We hope everyone has a great summer break and before we know it, we will be back for another exciting year. Just a reminder, high school will be completing semester exams Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. There will be Kindergarten graduation on Monday, May, 18 at 7pm and 4th grade play on Tuesday, May 19 at 6:30pm. We will dismiss for summer break on Wednesday, May 20 at 1pm. We hope everyone has a great summer! Go Mohawks!
