The bus for Memphis Zoo will be leaving at 7 A.M on Friday, May 1st. You must be on time to ride the bus. We will not be able to wait for anyone! Remember to wear comfy shoes and bring money if you'd like to purchase something. Parents can hold on to your child's lunch if you are bringing one from home. We will still be meeting up with parents to check out your child at the Flamingos/Hippo area! If your child is riding the bus home, please be at the school by 4:15 P.M. in case we arrive early! We are excited for a fun trip!

7th–11th Grade Parents: An email has been sent to your student and the primary parent email regarding the semester exam schedule. This is just to help you as you make plans for the end of the school year. If you did not receive the email, please ask your student to show it to you. You may email or call the office with any questions.

Mohawk Nation: More information regarding the softball game at Riverside High School today: Admission is free but there will be no concessions.

Mohawk Nation: The Lady Mohawk softball game v. Cross County has been moved to be played at Riverside High School in Lake City today starting at 4:00pm due to wet field conditions at Piggott. Riverside is the host of the 2A-3 District and Regional tournaments! Go Lady Mohawks beat the Thunderbirds!

Mohawk Nation: The quarterfinal game in the 2A-3 District Softball tournament has been postponed until Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 4pm in Piggott. Your Lady Mohawks will play Cross County. Go Mohawks!

Tomorrow, April 29 is the last day to turn in your permission slip and your $13.00 for your 4th grade field trip to the movies on this Thursday.

Mohawk Nation: A tornado warning has been issued for Clay County, the Piggott High School safe house is now open and will remain open until the storm passes. Stay safe!

Mohawk Nation: Kait 8 Weather service is reporting severe weather to our West/Northwest. Just a reminder that when a Tornado Warning is issued for Clay County, the Piggott School Safe house will be open for community's peace of mind. We ask everyone sign in as you enter and reminder there is no smoking on school property and if you bring pets they must be kenneled or leashed. We are praying for our communities during these storms!

The last day to turn in Pee Wee Cheer registration forms is Friday, May 1st.

Mohawk Nation: The Piggott School District will be closed on Friday, April 24, 2026. We hope everyone enjoys the three day weekend! Go Mohawks!

Volleyball t-shirt orders are due this Thursday. Make checks payable to Piggott Volleyball.

Don't forget to send in one baby picture and one current picture of your child by Friday, April 24th for the 6th grade "Then and Now" bulletin board. Photos can be brought in with your child's name written on the back or emailed to: haley.baker@piggottschools.net

Mohawk Nation: The Mohawk and Lady Mohawk baseball and softball games that were scheduled at Cross County on Thursday, April 16 have been moved to Wednesday, April 15 at 4:30 to avoid the possible Thunderstorms forecasted for Thursday! Games are still to be played at Cross County in Cherry Valley. Go Mohawks!

We will be creating a special "Then and Now" bulletin board to celebrate our 6th grade graduates. Please send one baby picture and one current picture of your child by Friday, April 24th. You may submit the photo in one of the following ways:

-send a printed photo with your child (please write your child's name on the back)
