Due to the increase of the Covid 19/Delta Variance Viruses in our county(72 new cases with 90 being active) and in the surrounding areas, the Piggott School Board decided at last night's board meeting to issue a temporary mask mandate effective immediately. The mask mandate will be for indoor activities only where social distancing cannot be achieved. We are implementing this to best protect our students and staff during these trying times. We appreciate your cooperation with this temporary mask mandate. The school board will review the mandate each month to determine whether or not it needs to be extended. This mask mandate goes into effect immediately in all school property buildings. We will highly recommend masks for outdoor events where social distancing cannot be maintained. Again, thank you for your cooperation. Superintendent Bowen
