
Reminder: Friday, December 16, 2022 is the last school day before the Christmas Holidays. School will resume on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. The Piggott School District wants to wish our students and their families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Go Mohawks!

The Piggott School District has seen an increase in cases of the flu and Covid 19 over the past two days. Please monitor your child's fever before sending them to school. We want to do our best to control the spread of these two illnesses.

This is just to all 6th grade band students - The Piggott Band's Winter concert is going to be this Sunday, December 11th, at 2:00 p.m. in the PHS Middle Gym. Students should arrive at the PHS Band Room no later than 1:00. All 6-12 band students are required to attend. The concert is free admission. If you have any questions please contact Mr. Allman ASAP. AFMC, the Piggott Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Arkansas Department of Health are partnering to provide Free Covid 19 and Flu vaccines at the Piggott Christmas Festival.

If you ordered from our catalog fundraiser, your items are in. You can pick up today until 3:30 and Friday from 7:30-3:30. Please come to the office and we will get your items for you. Thank you for supporting our school!

Reminder: This week we are having our food drive. Please bring canned vegetable on Monday, instant potato or mac and cheese on Tuesday, canned fruit on Wednesday, dessert items on Thursday, and stuffing and gravy packages and jars of peanut butter on Friday. Thank you for helping make our Food Drive a success!

Reminder for Senior Parents- Tomorrow, Nov. 1 is the last day to turn in senior ads. Ads can be done online at Jostens.com or by turning it in to Mrs. Diana at the elementary.

The Red Ribbon Run will be Tuesday during their special class time. Wear tennis shoes and comfortable clothes.

This week, October 24- October 28, is Red Ribbon Week: Monday is wear red, Tuesday is dress in the career of your choice, Wednesday is wear crazy clothes, Thursday is wear your brightest colors and Friday is wear costume (no face masks please)

Parent Teacher Conferences are Thursday, October 20, from 3:15 - 8:15. There is also No School Friday, October 21.

Senior - Tomorrow, October 20, is the last day to turn in your baby pictures for the yearbook.

Congratulations to Shawn Hudson Seegraves for his opening round win at the overall state tennis tournament this morning. He defeated his opponent 6-1, 6-1 to advance to the next round. His next match is at noon. Go Shawn Hudson! Go Mohawks!

Parents: Pee Wee Basketball forms are to be turned in by October 19. If your child is in 3rd-6th grade and would like to play please send $20.00 with form back to the school by the deadline. There are extra forms in the elementary office if you need one. Thank you!
