BMI Screenings for K, 2, 4 and 6 grades will begin Monday, May 1, along with scoliosis screenings for just 6th grade girls. Forms were previously sent home, if you do NOT want your student screened, them return the signed form by Monday.

The Piggott School District will host the 3A-3 Conference Baseball and Softball tournaments starting Monday, April 24 starting at 4pm. Admission for games will be $5/person. Since this a district event, everyone ages 5 years old and up must pay to enter. Arkansas Activity Association cards will be the only card accepted for these games.

This Monday is our Spring Band Concert. Every student in 6th grade band is required to attend unless the absence has been cleared with the director. Students need to be at the High School Middle Gym at 5 p.m. and the concert will begin at 6. All band students need to bring their instruments to school Monday morning. Reach out to a band director if you have any questions.

This Friday, April 14, we will have our ACT Aspire Assembly. The assembly will start at 1:00 in the elementary gym. This will be for 4-6 grade students. Parents will be notified if your child will receive a certificate.

Mohawk Baseball: The Piggott Mohawks play host to the Corning Bobcats this afternoon. Game time has been changed from 4:30 to 5:00pm. Come out to Independence Park and support your Mohawks! Adult admission is $5. Students free.

Mohawk Nation: After viewing radar and watching weather reports, the Piggott School District will operate under normal hours today, Wednesday, April 5th. Buses will run at normal times. We will continue to monitor weather patterns and do our best to keep our students and staff safe from possible inclement weather throughout the day. We hope everyone has a great day!

Mohawk Nation: Please continue to keep the communities of Wynne and Little Rock in your thoughts and prayers. We again are under another threat of severe weather overnight and through the day tomorrow. The school district will continue to monitor weather patterns, communicate with state and local officials as we make decisions about school tomorrow. As has been stated before the safety of our students and staff is the most important. The storm shelter will be made available in the event it is needed. As of present time, we plan on having school as normal tomorrow but may adjust as we move through the night and into the morning hours. We will post any changes to the school hours as soon as we have up to date information.
