Mohawk Baseball: The Mohawk Baseball game at Marmaduke today has been cancelled due to a scheduling change with the Marmaduke Baseball schedule. All efforts have been made to find another game but there are no available teams or officials in the area. There will be no Mohawk Baseball game today.
Spring picture proofs have been sent home. Orders can be turned into the school thru Monday, April 3. Orders can also be placed online with the code on the proof.
Mohawk Baseball: The Piggott Mohawks will play the Harrisburg Hornets this afternoon (03/28) at home starting at 4:30pm. The JV game will be played first, followed by the varsity game. Go Mohawks!
Mohawk Track: The Sr. High track meet at Kennett (23rd) has been rescheduled. The track teams will not be able to participate. The 7th/8th grade track meet at Dexter is still scheduled for tomorrow.

Reminder: Tomorrow, March 16, is Parent Teacher Conferences. We will be closed on Friday, March 17, and the week of March 20-24 for Spring Break. School will resume on March 27.

Tomorrow, March 14, is Spring Picture day. All students Pre-K - 6th grade will have their picture taken. A proof will be sent home in a couple of weeks and orders may be placed at that time.
The Lady Mohawk Softball game that was scheduled to be played at Armorel has now been moved to Piggott. Please come out and support our Lady Mohawks. Just a reminder, we will be taking admission this year to offset some cost. Admission is $5 per adult, students are free. We will accept senior adult passes and AAA Cards. Go Lady Mohawks!

The Piggott Mohawks Baseball team will host the Gosnell Pirates in a Double Header this afternoon, March 6 starting at 4pm. This will be the first games held at Piggott in almost two years. Please come out and support our Mohawks. We will be charging admission this year to offset some cost. Admission is $5.00 for adults; students PK-12th grade is free.

Junior High Cheerleading tryouts are being held on Friday, March 10, at 3:30 pm. Forms were sent home with all 6th graders interested in trying our for the upcoming school year. Practices will be held March 6-9 at the PHS Middle Gym from after school until 5:00. Any child participating should bring appropriate practice clothes, including tennis shoes. We are celebrating reading and Dr. Seuss' birthday this week - Monday wear your craziest socks, Tuesday is wear something red or blue, Wednesday wear something green, Thursday is wear stripes and /or your favorite hat and Friday is wear your favorite pajamas.
The Piggott School District will be hosting two community meetings regarding the 2023-24 school year calendar. All community members are invited to attend these meetings. Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 6:30pm at the ES Library or Monday, March 6, 2023 at 6:30pm at the HS Library.
