Just a reminder that tomorrow night will be the PES Fall Festival. The festival will be at the elementary playground from 3:30-6:00. We hope to see everyone there!

We will be preselling tickets Thursday and Friday morning of this week. The tickets are $10.00 for 20 tickets. Please tell your children we will be starting in the morning from 7:30- 8:00. The tickets will be sold in front of the elementary office. We will also be selling them Friday at the Fall Festival for the same price.

The tutoring that was scheduled to start today will need to be rescheduled until next Tuesday, November 5. This reminder is just for the students that received a letter from the elementary school regarding tutoring. If you have any questions please call the school at 870-598-2546.

This week we are having our canned food drive: Tuesday bring canned vegetables and canned fruit. Wednesday bring instant potato packages and macaroni and cheese. Thursday bring dessert items and Friday bring stuffing packages, gravy packets and jars of peanut butter and jelly. Thank you, for helping with this!

We will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week by having dress-up days:
Tuesday - Life is a movie- wear red. Wednesday - Give drugs the boot, but keep it classy-country vs. country club. Thursday - Scare away drugs,-wear your Halloween costume or dress up attire (NO MASKS). Friday - Mohawks against drugs-wear a school shirt.

This is a reminder that Parent/Teacher conferences are tomorrow, October 24, from 3:30-7:30. We hope to see all parents there!

Mohawk Nation: The Piggott School District will be hosting Parent/Teacher Conferences from 3:30pm-7:30pm on Thursday, October 24th on both campuses. Also, the district will have a fall break on Friday, October 25 and Monday October 28, 2024. No school these two days. Go Mohawks!

The Red Ribbon run will be tomorrow, October 23, at the track for kindergarten - 6th grade. Students need to wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes. This will take place during the special class time.

The Mr. and Miss Boo-tiful Halloween Pageant will be October 27 at the Piggott Community Center. This is for ages newborn to 18 years. This event is hosted by the Piggott High School Band Boosters. If you have any question please contact Michelle Foster.

Due to the play off games on Tuesday the pee wee cheerleaders and the mini mohawk cheerleaders will practice on Monday right after school until 4:30. They must have a note to stay for practice. There will not be no practice on Tuesday.

Just a reminder that tomorrow, October 18, is the kindergarten field trip to Pumpkin Hollow. The bus will be leaving the school at 8:45.. Please dress your child in comfy clothes, tennis shoes and a jacket. You can either follow the bus or meet us there.

Just a reminder that tomorrow, October 18, is the 1st grade field trip to Begg's Farm. All students need to be here no later that 7:40. Make sure your child has had breakfast before they come to school. Also, have your child wear tennis shoes and either a jacket or a sweatshirt.

FINAL REMINDER: All Pee Wee Basketball forms and money needs to be turned in ASAP. You can turn everything into the elementary office. If you have any question please contact Billy Joe Seal.

The Pee Wee Cheerleaders and the students that participated in the Mini Mohawk Cheer Clinic in the spring have been invited to perform with the High School Cheerleaders for the halftime performance at the home football game on Friday, October 25th. This performance is optional. We will have practice after school on Tuesday, October 15th and Tuesday, October 22nd. All students will need to be picked up by 4:30 p.m. Students must have a note with parent's permission to stay after school for practice. Thank you, Mrs. Haley

Reminder: Elementary FLU clinic will be held Wednesday, Oct. 16th. If you would like your child to receive the free FLU shot, please sign and return the papers that were previously sent home.
