Summer Feeding Program Update: Attention Parents and Students. After consideration and talking with staff, the Piggott Summer Feeding Program WILL CONTINUE to serve meals from the Elementary School Cafeteria for the remainder of the Summer 2023 feeding cycle. We will resume serving meals on Monday, July 10, 2023 at the same times and will continue to serve from the Elementary Cafeteria. Thank you for your understanding! Go Mohawks!
Reminder: The Piggott School District is serving breakfast and lunch throughout the summer. Breakfast will be served from 8-9am and lunch served from 11:30am-12:30pm. Students 18 and under eat free. Adults may eat for $2.50 for breakfast and $4.00 for lunch. Meals will be served Monday through Thursday during these times at the elementary building. Please pull through the car rider line. The meals will be served as a grab and go meal. Go Mohawks!

Parents, There have been some reports of some scam text messages claiming to be from our school district. They asked for email and password information. Please remember that our school district will never contact you and ask for a password or other forms of personal identification.
School will be dismissed early tomorrow, May 26. Car riders will be dismissed at 1:50, bus riders will be dismissed at 2:00. We hope you all have a great summer!!

Car riders and bus riders will be released from Elementary School at 2pm, so expect students that ride the bus to be home approximately an hour early on Friday, May 26th. We hope you and your family have a wonderful summer vacation. School will start back, Wednesday, August 16, 2023.
This is a message for 6th grade parents. If your child is going to be in any sport for the 2023-2024 school year, they will be doing physicals for the 6th grade students on, Tuesday, May 23 from 10:00-2:00 at the New Gym at the High School.
This is a reminder that the 4th grade play with be tomorrow, May 18, at 6:30 p.m. They want all students to be at the elementary school at 6:15. Hope to see all of you there!

Any student borrowing a school owned band instrument will need to turn it in the night of the 6th grade graduation so they may be cleaned and repaired, if needed. If you will not be at graduation, please turn it in by the end of the week.
The Band Awards Banquet will be tomorrow May 12 at 5:30 pm in the High School Cafeteria. This is not required but is encouraged for all band members. There will be a taco bar provided in part by the band boosters. If you can help bring some items for this please contact a band director or Michelle Foster.
PACE (Program for Academic and Creative Excellence) referrals are available in both campus offices. If you are interested in referring a student, please return them to Mrs. Cassie Knight by May 24th.
Tomorrow will be track and field day for 4th and 5th graders. It will start at 8:30 at the football track and parents are welcome to come watch. Please make sure your child is wearing tennis shoes and brings a water bottle.
