PHS Junior Class Parents: There will be a meeting on Monday, November 2nd at 6:00 in the high school cafeteria to finalize the PowerPuff game and plan the next fundraisers.
PHS Parents - Please inform your child that high school bus routes and parking procedures have returned to normal. All students being picked up after school should be picked up in the high school student parking lot. Please do not arrange for student pickup at the old gym or surrounding local businesses. Mohawk Nation: The Lil Mohawk Daycare has two toddler childcare openings if someone is looking for childcare. This is for children ages 18-36 months. The cost of the childcare is $125/week. Due to the State Volleyball Tournament, we will have parking and dismissal changes Monday–Wednesday (October 26–28).
Students will be reminded of these changes at school tomorrow, but please share this information with your student tonight, especially if they drive to school, so they know where to park when they arrive in the morning.
PARKING CHANGES:
Seniors: Park in your personalized parking spot or, if you don't have one, in the band lot. Do NOT park in the gravel parking lot.
Other Student Drivers: Park at the old gym or VFW. Do NOT park on the grass.
AFTERNOON DISMISSAL:
Bus Riders: Buses will line up behind the cafeteria/vo-ag area. Students will exit through the doors midway down the senior hallway.
Car Riders: Students will exit the east end of the building and be picked up on Garfield Street near the bank and old gym.

Mohawk Nation: Just a reminder that tomorrow, October 26-Wednesday, October 28, Piggott High School will be hosting the 2A State tournament beginning at noon tomorrow. We will be using both the Middle and New gym with 8 matches being played. Tickets must be purchased online at https://gofan.co/app/school/AAA. Be sure to carefully read the tournament name and date of matches prior to purchase. Tickets are $8 for adults and students ages 5 and older. Only AAA passes can be accepted. The Piggott Lady Mohawks play tomorrow afternoon at 4pm. If you cannot attend, you can catch all the live action through the Corning Sports Report broadcast through YouTube or Facebook. This will be an exciting week of volleyball action. Go Mohawks!
This week we are celebrating Red Ribbon Week, here are our dress up days: Monday-Wear Red, Tuesday-Pajama Day, Wednesday-Neon Day, Thursday-Hawaiian Day and Friday-Costume Day. Mohawk Nation: The Piggott School District will be hosting the 2A State Volleyball tournament October 26-28, 2026. Matches will begin at noon on October 26 and 27 and at 2pm on October 28. Tickets can be purchased online at GoFan.co. Tickets are $8 for adults and students ages 5 and above. Tickets can also be purchased at the door using a debit or credit card. Looking forward to having everyone on campus next week.
Mohawk Nation: A big thank you to Zach Baker and the Piggott Water department for repairing our water lines at the Elementary School tonight. School will resume as normal tomorrow.
Also, 2A East Regional Consolation and Final Matches will be played tomorrow at 2 and 4pm. The Lady Mohawks will play Palestine Wheatley for the Regional championship tomorrow at 4pm. Come out and support these ladies! Go Mohawks!
To all parents, we are having an issue with a water main at the elementary school. We only have set of bathrooms working for the whole school. If you are able to come check your child out we would like for you to do so. This will not count against them.
Mohawk Nation: Piggott Elementary is experiencing some water issues due to new water lines that have been put in place. This affects our Kindergarten through second grade classrooms. We are working with the city to get the issue corrected. At present time the water supply has been shut off to those classrooms and teachers and staff are working with administrators to ensure children can use restrooms at the other end of the building. The district is currently supplying bottled water to those affected. We apologize for this disruption. We have been assured the water supply is safe on the east end of the building that houses our 3-6th grade. I appreciate the efforts of our staff of keeping your students safe and cared for during this unfortunate time. If you feel the need to check out your child please do so. We will keep you posted on future developments.

School will be dismissed early today for our Parent Teacher conferences. Car riders will be dismissed at 1:50 and bus riders will be dismissed at 2:00. The conferences are from 2:15-5:30. Also, we do have school tomorrow, October 15 but will be out for Fall Break Friday, October 16 thru Monday, October 19. We hope everyone has a great weekend!!
