Jostens will be here on Wednesday, Dec 7 to deliver Junior class rings. If you have a $0 balance, you will be able to get your ring that day.
The Sr. High FBLA Holiday Party will be December 13. You MUST bring an unopened item for AR Children's Hospital (or $2) in order to attend. Donations should be brought to Mrs. Peters' classroom by the end of the day, December 9.
Mrs. Peters' Marketing Classes will be hosting the 2nd Annual Food Cart Fest on Friday, December 9! Students will be set up selling food and drinks from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Students will be allowed to purchase items at the discretion of their classroom teachers throughout the day. Items will range in price from $1 - $5.
The Art Club Christmas party will be Monday, December 12th, during 2nd period. Members who want to participate in Secret Santa need to see Mrs. Tate by TODAY.
FCCLA members,
Your Secret Santa gift color today is Green and Thursday's color is Red.
The Spanish Club will host a Christmas door decorating contest this year. Your door has to be decorated by Wednesday of this week. The door will be judged on Thursday and the winners announced on Friday.
*Only your 5th period can decorate as only the 5th period will win the grand prize. If you have double doors only one door can be decorated as most teachers and staff only have one door. You can give one of your double doors to a teacher that is not in this building to decorate but you cannot decorate it for them.
*There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes for the winning doors.
*The grand prize is that 1st place will also receive a free day. The teacher will win the grand prize gift bag and be student free all day. His/Her students will go to the gym all day on Monday!
*We encourage everyone to participate as the prizes are awesome this year!
There will be a Jr. Class meeting this Thursday at 12:50 in the library. Students should check in with their 6th period teacher and report to the meeting.
Work Keys Test ---- December 7 at 10:30 (or as soon as Jostens is finished) & Dec 8 at 9:00 in the library. The library will be closed during testing.
No Chess practice this week or next week. It will resume after Christmas break.
The Winter Band Concert is Sunday, December 11th at 2:00 pm in the Middle Gym. Free admission. The concert will feature the 6th, 7th, Junior, and Senior bands, as well as the Alumni Jazz band.

Mohawk and Lady Mohawk Basketball season is upon us! Please remember the following rules to ensure we have some good nights on the court and in the stands:
1) Doors will not open for the games until 45 minutes prior to the first game. For example, if the first game starts at 5:00pm, the doors will not open until 4:15pm. If you stay after school, you must remain outside the buildings until the doors open. 2) All Piggott High School Students have free admission; however if you leave the gym you must leave campus. Students are not to hang out in the parking lot or under the portico during the games. We are here to cheer on the Mohawks! 3) Keep all cheers positive and directed to our teams, any derogatory remarks toward visiting teams, players, or officials will not be tolerated. You will be asked to leave. 4) No outside food or drinks are allowed inside the lobby or gym area. Finish those items before entering. 5) Only players and coaches need to be on the gym floor. Please stay off the court. 6) Only basketball players are to be in the Middle Gym during basketball games to change clothes before and after games. No other students will be allowed down the hallway during basketball games. |
We will give a “super fan” award at every home game. You can win a drink and candy bar and you name will be entered for a grand prize at the end of the year.
