Friday morning, September 30, Mr. Bowen will meet with the Juniors and Seniors in the library. We will call for them when he is ready.
We will have a drama club meeting at 10:55 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 30th, in the library. All students interested in participating in stage productions and club activities should attend this informational meeting.
It's not too late to join FBLA! $15 dues must be paid by October 14 if you want a t-shirt!
The Art on the Ridge and First National Bank is sponsoring a pumpkin decorating contest on October 8th. Prize money is $10, $25, and $50 in 5 different categories with one Best of Show. Info is in the office, see Mrs. Tate, or go online at www.artontheridge.org.
It is time to sign up for the Spanish Club. You can sign up with Mrs. White in room 232 between classes and right after school. Do not disturb class. Sign ups will last through Oct 7th. Dues are $20 and that includes your club t-shirt.
Congratulations to Haley Hanners for winning 2nd place in the Youth Landscape/Seascape/Skyscape category in the photography contest at the Delta Fair. She also received an honorable mention for her black and white shot of the flower farm.
Congratulations to Ms. Vernon for winning 3rd place in the Professional Exhibitor's Choice category in the photography contest at the Delta Fair.

Students may start joining FCCLA. Dues are $15.00 and this includes a chapter t-shirt. Students in 9-12th grades that have had or are taking a FCS class can be members. See Mrs. Little.

Congratulations to Brileigh Daniels for beating her personal best time by 5 minutes at the Sloan-Hendrix River Run Cross Country meet.
The tennis teams are excused from school today to compete in the district tournament at Jonesboro.
This Thursday (9/29) is Senior Night for Volleyball. The theme is dress like senior citizens
