Seniors:  There is a list of Honor Graduates on Mrs. Amber's door.  If you are not on the list and think you should be, let Mrs. Amber know.  The requirements to be an Honor Graduate are also posted with the list.

**Sophomores/Juniors:  If you are interested in taking the following concurrent classes next year, it is time to register.  See Mrs. Amber for paperwork.  You must have ACT or ACT Aspire cut scores to qualify.  They will start accepting applications on April 18  and the deadline is May 27.  These classes come on a first come first serve basis with our school and several other schools.  If you are interested, you need to see Mrs. Amber ASAP.

FFA Farm Sale is this Saturday, April 2.  Teachers received an email spreadsheet of the students who will be working at the fairgrounds this week. This list should be checked daily as students have been added.

Juniors come by Mrs. Laura’s room today to pick up 4 tickets to sell for the Dyson Air wrap. This is our final fundraiser.

All seniors will report to the library on Wednesday, April 6th, to get their mandatory CPR training.

The Juniors will be attending a tour of the BRTC Paragould campus on Wednesday, April 6.  We will leave from the parking lot at 8:30 and return around 12:15.  They will eat lunch when we return.  Mrs. Amber is handing out permission slips.

-- Mohawk Consignment Shop! The Band Boosters will be selling Sunday/Easter dresses and Pageant/Formal dresses on Saturday, April 2nd, from 7am until 12 noon in the PHS Band Room. The fee to sell a dress is $10. Sellers will register their dresses Friday, April 1st, from 5:30-6:30pm in the PHS Band Room. 

 Baseball vs. Newport at Home on Thursday, March 31 at 4:30--Baseball at Rivercrest (DH) on Saturday, April 2 beginning at 12:00.

Softball at Manila on Thursday, March31--please dismiss at 1:30.

Jr high baseball will dismiss at 2:00 3/31 to go to Trumann.

Lifeguard applications for the Piggott Public Pool are available at the Community Center. If you have any questions , see Ms. Shawna Stone.

**FBLA members who plan to attend the Six Flags trip on April 29 MUST have their green permission forms returned along with any money owed by THIS THURSDAY, March 31! Tickets will be ordered Friday.

Registration Deadline for June 11 ACT Test that is given here at PHS is Friday, May 6.

Hitt's Chapel is sponsoring a logo design contest for their kid's chapel. Anyone interested in winning $50 or $100, needs to see Mrs. Tate for the details. Designs are due April 15th.

 The 2022 Mohawk Pageant will take place Saturday, April 30th, in the PHS Middle Gym. Entry forms may be found in the PES office and the PHS office. Entry forms and fees are due Friday, April 22nd, and may be turned in to the PES and PHS offices. 

Middle Level FBLA will be hosting an underwear and sock drive for "Together We Foster". Please bring your donations to the box outside of Ms. Sadie's room. Drive will be March 28- April 11.

Announcement- ALL students stay in the cafeteria when they arrive at school each day beginning  Monday, March 7th. No students will be allowed in the main building until the 1st bell rings.

**The Gaylon Lawrence Memorial Scholarship application is now available on the PHS website. This is a 4-year renewable scholarship of $1000 per semester given to a student who exhibits excellence in academics, leadership, and character. It is renewable with a G.P.A. requirement of 2.5 for freshman year and 3.0 thereafter up to $8000 total. A 300 word essay is required. Deadline for application is April 29, 2022. **Centennial Bank to Offer 10 Annual $1,000 Scholarships -Deadline April 1st  Centennial Bank Scholarship Link  -You can Email: nicole@ahsaa.org or mail it. There is no limit on the number of eligible students a school can submit. 

Centennial Bank, the “Titled Named Sponsors” for all regional and state championships, will provide a total of 10 annual $1,000 scholarships to qualifying high school seniors.  Centennial Bank’s scholarships will be provided for athletic achievement and community service. There are two categories for the scholarships, and five boys and girls winners will be selected.  Here are the scholastic requirements for the Centennial Bank scholarship:  1. Must have a 7-semester minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. 2. Must have scored at least 21 on the ACT or at least 900 on the SAT.  Other requirements are:  1. Must be a senior student-athlete registered with the AAA 2. Must meet NCAA Scholarship rules 3. Must display good citizenship in school and in the community 4. Must display desirable leadership traits 5. Must have participated in other school activities

**Alpha Delta Kappa is an international organization for female educators.  We are an altruistic group.  One of our monetary projects is to give a scholarship of $750 to a high school female who is planning to attend college to receive a degree in education with the desire of becoming a teacher. All applications need to be received no later than April 8, 2022 to the address below, which is also on the application. If you have any questions, please contact me at amber.teager@gctschools.net

** Textbook Brokers in Conway, AR is sponsoring a Book Scholarship to  students attending UCA, CBC or UACCM in Fall 2022.  They have provided a link for students to fill out their information for a chance to win a Textbook Scholarship for Fall 2022. Each scholarship will cover the full cost of books for the Fall 2022 semester. There will be  2 winners chosen  at UCA and UACCM then one winner for CBC. They will announce the winners on Facebook and Instagram, May 16th 2022. Students can also visit our website www.conwaybooks.com and fill out the scholarship form under our "info" tab. One entry person.

Seniors:  Clay County Cattleman's Association's scholarship application is available in Mrs. Amber's office.  This is for students pursuing a degree in Animal  Science and/or agriculture.  Deadline is May 1st. 

Seniors:  A representative from TRC will be here on  Wednesday, April 13 to answer any questions and for those who have been accepted, she will register you for Fall classes.  See Mrs. Amber if you are interested.

**Seniors:  The Clay County Farm Bureau Scholarship application is available in Mrs. Amber's office.  You must be a child or grandchild of a Clay County Farm Bureau member, 2.5 GPA, and preferably seeking a degree in agriculture or the medical field - but this is not a requirement.  Deadline April 15, 2022
