Announcements 10-20-21

**Congrats to Shawn-Hudson Seegraves and Brandon Palmer for an outstanding season. It took the Class 6A State Champions Little Rock Central to end their season in the Overall State Tennis Tournament. They had a career doubles record of 36-2 in playing together. They also made school history in winning a round at the Overall Tennis State Tournament.

Congratulations to the Delta Fair winners:  Skylar Stone, Callie Henson, Jadah Smith, Laura Jackson, Paylee Myhre, Jadyn Thompson, Piper Hicks, Madden Mack, and Nathalie Burr.

And to Pumpkin Hollow scarecrow winners:  1st Jadah Smith, 2nd Skyler Stone, and 3rd Piper Hicks.

  There will be NO SCHOOL on FRIDAY, Oct. 22.

Students:  If you are interested in taking a concurrent class from ASU for spring semester - Get with Mrs. Amber by the end of the day on Thursday!!  Classes that are offered are World Lit since 1660, Intro to Psychology, and Sociology.  You must have qualifying scores.

***DATE CHANGESeniors- Baby pictures for the yearbook are due by  this Thursday, October  21.  Please turn them in to Mrs. Natalie.

*** Sr Night Pep Rally will be on Wednesday, October 20th, at 9:45. Students should go to their 3rd hour and will be dismissed once the band plays past your classroom.Students will continue to sit in their grade level areas. **Please dismiss the SR High Cheerleaders at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, 10/20/21. Olivia Woolard, Natalie Boyd, Micha Harrell, Haley Hanners, Nyla Dees, Karter Webb, Anna Haley, Autumn Covert, Taylor Blackwell--**The Band will need to stay after 2nd period today to get ready to play down the halls prior to the pep rally this morning- Rachael Deggans, Dagan Frerking, Hunter Kinnard, Sebastian Mayberry, Chris Price, Kayden Reel, Alex Scott, and Rebecca Woolery.

The band will need to be dismissed after 2nd Lunch on Monday to play at the Red Ribbon Rally at the Elementary School.  

Please excuse the following FCCLA members.  They will be attending the District 3 Planning and Election Meeting today, WEDNESDAY  in Jonesboro:  Chloe Sexton, Emily Conley, Rachel Deggans, Rosie Garcia, Sienna Jones and Skylar Stone.

FBLA members are encouraged to wear any FBLA t-shirt or blue and gold this MONDAY, OCTOBER 25 to celebrate Piggott FBLA's 34th birthday! All members who participate will be entered into a drawing for a $10 cash prize! The more who participate, the more names drawn.

Everyone is invited to visit the pumpkin art display in the library and vote for your favorite pumpkin for the people's choice award Everyone gets 1 vote that will be placed in the designated container.  Thursday is the last day to vote.  

ATTENTION:  Social Distancing  (6ft) must be maintained masked or not.  Students are not to park on the back side of the New Gym.  Please park in the main parking lot or Sr Football at Old Gym.  Reminder: Students are not to go to their vehicles during class, between classes or anytime during the day without permission. 

 FCCLA is sponsoring a Powderpuff football game on Tuesday,  November 2 at 6:00 pm!  

Make-up picture day will be Wednesday, November 3.  We will start with seniors at 8 a.m.  The rest of the students and faculty will be after the seniors are done.
