Announcements 10-15-21

Congrats to the Jr. high volleyball team for defeating Walnut Ridge. Next up they will take on Harrisburg in the semifinals, Saturday, Oct. 16 at 10:00 a.m.

**Congrats to Shawn-Hudson Seegraves/Brandon Palmer for being Class AAA State Doubles Champions. They will compete in the Overall State Championships next Monday. **Congrats to Aden Baggett for finishing 7th in the State Tournament Singles' Division.  **Congrats to Callie Henson for finishing with a record of 23-1 this season.

End of 1st Quarter was Thursday, Oct. 14.  This will be the 2nd Progress Report for 1st semester. Parent-Teacher Conference will be next Tuesday, Oct. 19 from 3:30-7:00.

***There has been a change to the Sr Night Pep Rally. It will be on Wednesday, October 20th, at 9:45. Students should go to their 3rd hour and will be dismissed once the band plays past your classroom. 

Miss Sadie is looking for empty 12 pack soda boxes. If anyone has any, please bring them to her room this week!

Seniors- Baby pictures for the yearbook are due by Thursday, November 21.  Please turn them in to Mrs. Natalie.

All middle level FBLA students will have a meeting in the library on Friday, October 15th at 10:10.

ATTENTION:  Social Distancing  (6ft) must be maintained masked or not.  Students are not to park on the back side of the New Gym.  Please park in the main parking lot or Sr Football at Old Gym.  Reminder: Students are not to go to their vehicles during class, between classes or anytime during the day without permission. 

Powderpuff is on! FCCLA is sponsoring a Powderpuff football game on Tuesday,  November 2 at 6:00 pm!  

Make-up picture day will be Wednesday, November 3.  We will start with seniors at 8 a.m.  The rest of the students and faculty will be after the seniors are done.

SPORTS THIS WEEK-

CROSS COUNTRY-Nya Noble-Romero and Katelyn Robertson have a cross country meet  Saturday, October 16  in the Bomber Invitational Meet in Mountain Home. Tuesday, October 19 will be the Blazer Arvest Bank Invitational Meet in Jonesboro.   Please excuse at 1:15.

VOLLEYBALL-- Sr Conference Tournament is at Hoxie beginning 10/16 TBD.  State Volleyball will begin 10/25.

FOOTBALL- Friday, October 15- Sr Football at Hoxie at 7:00. --  Next Friday, Oct. 22 will be Sr Night vs. Harrisburg.

Thursday, Oct.  14- JR Football vs. Hoxie at home 6:30 p.m.  --Next Thursday, Oct. 21, Jr Football at Harrisburg 6:00.
