Seniors:  A representative from BRTC will be here TODAY at 9:15 in the library.  If you are interested, come to the library then.

End of 1st Quarter is Thursday, Oct. 14.  This will be the 2nd Progress Report for 1st semester. Parent-Teacher Conference will be next Tuesday, Oct. 19 from 3:30-7:00.

Teachers:  Please have grades in eSchool and loaded to IPR (not RC unless 9 week class) by the end of the day on Thursday, Oct. 14.

SH Girls Basketball needs to be dismissed at 10:25 to to a team picture retake.

CROSS COUNTRY-Nya Noble-Romero and Katelyn Robertson have a cross country meet  Tuesday, October 12 in the Bald Knob Invitational Meet.  Please excuse at 12:00.

 Congrats to StateTennis- Shawn-Hudson Seegraves/Brandon Palmer, Aden Baggett , and  Callie Henson. Please excuse Natalie Small and Tyson Peters also. State Tennis will be Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 11 and 12.

Please excuse Laura Jackson for the Arkansas State Fair Heifer Pen Show on Oct 12 and Oct 13. 

There will be a Pep Rally for SR Night on Monday, October 18 at 9:45 in the New Gym.

Senior High FBLA meeting Wednesday at 11:45 in the library. Door prizes will be given. We will be discussing upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and competition. If you want to join, you must have $15 dues paid by October 29 to receive a t-shirt.

***Letterman's Jacket Orders-  Skeeter Kell is coming to PHS to take orders for Letterman's Jackets next Thursday, Oct. 14 at 9:00 a.m. in the library.    The base cost of the jacket is $200, "P" is $20 and name on the back is $3 per letter.  Other patches given by the different sports can be sewn on the jackets. Order forms will be available next week and $100 deposit will be due at the time of order.

ATTENTION:  Social Distancing  (6ft) must be maintained masked or not.  Students are not to park on the back side of the New Gym.  Please park in the main parking lot or Sr Football at Old Gym.  Reminder: Students are not to go to their vehicles during class, between classes or anytime during the day without permission. 

**Seniors:  Southern Arkansas University is hosting 2 Preview days - October 28 and November 12.  Let Mrs. Amber know if you are interested.  She will email you the link to register for the event.

Seniors:  Visit www.reelricecontest.com for information about entering a short video about US grown rice.  Three scholarships will be awarded $5,000, $3,000 and $2,000.  Deadline is October 31, 2021

Powderpuff is on! FCCLA is sponsoring a Powderpuff football game on Tuesday,  November 2 at 6:00 pm!  

Make-up picture day will be Wednesday, November 3.  We will start with seniors at 8 a.m.  The rest of the students and faculty will be after the seniors are done.

**9th-12th Grade Students: It is time to join FCCLA!  Dues are $15.00 and you will receive a Sonic Coupon Card and later a club t-shirt  See Mrs. Little in the FCS room.

Those FCCLA members that have paid their dues and are interested in attending the Fall Conference in Washington D.C. Nov. 4-7.  See Mrs. Little for more details.  The cost of the trip will be the members responsibility..

Thursday, Oct.  14- JR Football vs. Hoxie at home 6:30 p.m.  --Next Thursday, Oct. 21, Jr Football at Harrisburg 6:00.
