PHS Journalism I had a strong showing with its photographs at the Clay County Fair!
- Jessica Holt won two first place ribbons and three second place ribbons.
- Layla Alsup won three first place ribbons and one second place ribbon.
- Myah Driscoll won two first place ribbons, one second place ribbon, and two third place ribbons.
- Ms. Vernon won two first place ribbons and one second place ribbon in the adult photography category.
Congrats to the 7th grade and Sr. High Volleyball team for defeating Harrisburg .Congrats to the Lady Mohawks Tennis team for defeating Paragould.
Congrats to Callie Henson for breaking the Lady Mohawks tennis record for most career wins in doubles (44).
Big shout out to all the likes ( over 1000) on Ethan Ralph's instagram page. Be on the Lookout for the Mohawk haircuts.
ACT will be given at PHS on Saturday, October 23. Deadline to register with late fees will be October 1.

A representative will be here TOMORROW, Tuesday, September 21 at 8:15 to meet with any 8th, 9th, or 10th grade students interested in attending the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts. Let Mrs. Amber know if you would like to meet with the representative.
Reminder that this Friday , Sept. 24 is the last day to pay dues for FBLA Senior High and Middle Level for those who want to attend Fall Conference in Jonesboro. Dues are $15 and include a t-shirt. See Mrs. Peters for Senior High or Miss Sadie for ML.

**9th-12th grade students enrolled in art or who have taken an art class can join Art Club until October 29th for $15. This includes a club t-shirt.
**It is time for Chess Club sign-ups. This is for students in 7th-12th grade. Please see Mrs. Cassie Knight or sign the sign up sheet attached to her classroom door. Students must be signed up by TOMORROW, Tuesday, September 21st.
**If you are interested in joining the Spanish Club you have until Oct 5th to pay your dues of $12. The $12 will pay for your club t-shirt.
**9th-12th Grade Students: It is time to join FCCLA! Dues are $15.00 and you will receive a Sonic Coupon Card and later a club t-shirt See Mrs. Little in the FCS room.
Those FCCLA members that have paid their dues and are interested in attending the Fall Conference in Washington D.C. Nov. 4-7. See Mrs. Little for more details. The cost of the trip will be the members responsibility..
