7-9 pace meeting today -Friday during MAP. 

Art III, 3rd period, will be on a field trip that will run into advisory period. Please excuse the following students during advisory:  Raygan Allen, Izzy Bean, Nathalie Burr, Abby Gibson, Sydney Johnson, Mason Kinnard, Belle Lovelace, and Cheyenne Matheney.

All students and teachers: You should have received an email with a survey from Mrs. Peters. Please complete the 3-question survey as soon as possible. FBLA appreciates you helping us collect this information.

Senior High FBLA FastPass to Success has begun! New members who join THIS WEEK ONLY will be rewarded with prizes, including an opportunity to earn a free Six Flags ticket! Current members who recruit will also earn prizes! See Mrs. Peters for more information!

Seniors, please fill out the Senior Profile Google Form found in your email by January 16th.

The Senior group picture will be taken today-Friday during advisory in the new gym.

Mid-Level FBLA students will be testing in the library during advisory and 4th hour on Tuesday, January 13th.

The school science fair will be held Friday, February 20, 2026, for 7th–12th grade students. Winners in each category will advance to the Regional Science Fair on February 27, 2026. For more information, see Mrs. Poole.  

Soybean Science Challenge

Students interested in soybean research can incorporate their project into the Soybean Science Challenge as part of their science fair project.

The Horatio Alger Scholarship application is now open.  Deadline is Feb 15, 2026.  See Mrs. Amber for a link.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Be enrolled full time as a high school senior in the United States

  • Exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a bachelor’s degree at one of the target colleges/universities on our website (complete list can be found here: Senior Scholarships)

  • Demonstrate financial need ($100,000 or lower household income)

  • Be involved in co-curricular and community service activities

  • Display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity

  • Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0

  • Be a United States citizen

$1,000 Conservation Scholarship to a first year student who is going to school for a career in conservation!  Applicable degree fields include:  Agriculture, Biology, Parks & Rec, Natural Resources, Ecology, & Animal Science.
