Congratulations to the following Art III students who participated and won at the Fall into Art competition at Kennett

Belle Lovelace, Raygan Allen, Nathalie Burr, Abby Gibson, and Mason Kinnard. They won a total of $210. 

Congratulations to Brooklyn Beck and Alyssa Lemmons  for their singles match wins against Corning yesterday.  Also, great job Kyler Reel for winning his singles match against Corning and to Cason Maynard and Kyler Reel for their doubles match win against Corning.  

Jostens order day - 09/17 Jr class rings & Sr items/announcements

Sr. baby photos are due to Mrs. Huckabay by October 1st.

School picture forms must be returned to the office or Mrs. Huckabay by Wednesday, September 24th.

Retake, makeup, and Senior school pictures will be taken Friday, September 26th.

There will be a 7th, 8th, and 9th grade pace meeting Thursday during advisory. 

Just a quick reminder—Wednesday, Sept 10,  is our 20th day of school. Starting next week, if you’re leaving for an activity during the school day, make sure your grades and attendance are where they need to be.

So, check those grades, keep that attendance up, and you’ll be good to go when it’s time to head out for activities!

Oct 18 ACT - deadline to register with late fees is Sept 30 - go to act.org to register.  If you have not taken an ACT before, you will have to set up an account.

Window to register for spring concurrent classes through ATU is Oct 15 - Nov 19

This includes the following classes:  College Algebra, Experiencing Art, Intro to Cybersecurity, Music Appreciation, Personal Health & Wellness, Public Speaking, US History since 1877, World History since 1500

You must have qualifying test scores.  See Mrs. Amber for registration paperwork.

Any 7-8th grader interested in joining FBLA needs to see Mrs. Huckabay

Senior High FBLA Dues must be paid by October 3. Fall Conference is October 15 and Pro Sports Career Day is November 20. See Mrs. Peters for more information

Students:  If you are needing school supplies, you can stop by the library or email Mrs. Natalie.

Pee Wee Volleyball is needing volunteers for their ballgames.  You can earn community service hours for this.  If you are interested, see Mrs. Amber or Mrs. Lovelace
