Congratulations to the girls’ tennis team for defeating Corning and CRA yesterday!  Alyssa Lemmons won her singles match and Madden Mack and Sarah Wade won their doubles match against Corning.  Faye Cardenas and Zoie Pollock won their singles matches against CRA.  Madden Mack, Sarah Wade, Chloey Clemons, Talan Toombs, Kylee Bare, and Eva Winstead won their doubles matches against CRA. 

The guys did a great job winning their matches against Corning.  Cason Maynard and Kyler Reel both  got singles and doubles victories!

Just a quick reminder—Wednesday, Sept 10,  is our 20th day of school. Starting next week, if you’re leaving for an activity during the school day, make sure your grades and attendance are where they need to be.

So, check those grades, keep that attendance up, and you’ll be good to go when it’s time to head out for activities!

Oct 18 ACT - deadline to register without fees is Sept 12 - go to act.org to register.  If you have not taken an ACT before, you will have to set up an account.

Window to register for spring concurrent classes through ATU is Oct 15 - Nov 19

This includes the following classes:  College Algebra, Experiencing Art, Intro to Cybersecurity, Music Appreciation, Personal Health & Wellness, Public Speaking, US History since 1877, World History since 1500

You must have qualifying test scores.  See Mrs. Amber for registration paperwork.

Any 7-8th grader interested in joining FBLA needs to see Mrs. Huckabay

Senior High FBLA Dues must be paid by October 3. Fall Conference is October 15 and Pro Sports Career Day is November 20. See Mrs. Peters for more information

Students:  If you are needing school supplies, you can stop by the library or email Mrs. Natalie.

Pee Wee Volleyball is needing volunteers for their ballgames.  You can earn community service hours for this.  If you are interested, see Mrs. Amber or Mrs. Lovelace
