There will be a senior class meeting on Monday December 11th in the library. The students need to also login to the class google classroom and check the latest post to suggest class colors, motto, song, and flower.
Please excuse Taylor Peters and Charlie Latta to attend the FBLA State Mid-Year Executive Council Meeting next Monday, December 11.
The Art Club party will be Tuesday, December 12th, during the advisory period in the art room. Secret Santa gifts need to be brought that day.
The Senior High FBLA Holiday Party will be next Tuesday, December 12 during 2nd lunch. No donations are necessary this year and all members are invited to attend for food, games, and prizes!
The Spanish Club is hosting a Christmas Door Decorating Contest for the Advisory Classes and Staff. The doors will need to be completed by the end of December 11th. There will be two sets of prizes. There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes for the Advisory Classes and a 1st place prize for the best Staff Door (those who are not classroom teachers). Doors will be judged after school on December 11th and prizes will be awarded on December 13th during Advisory. The theme is Christmas, not Winter.
Mrs. Peters's marketing classes will be hosting the 3rd annual Food Cart Fest in the HS Library next Wednesday, December 13. All students, faculty, and staff are invited to visit the food vendors between 9 am - 1 pm. Some items being served include pigs in a blanket, walking tacos, ham and cheese sliders, brownies, chocolate chip cookies, and more! Prices vary, so come prepared with money!
Everyone is invited to check out the art tins created by the Art III students and vote on your favorite. They are located in the library. Voting ends on the 14th.
ML FBLA members are selling candy canes until Christmas break for $1. All proceeds will be donated to the Brantley family. Mrs. Sadie will also have candy canes available in her classroom.
Any 9th graders interested in getting some community service hours through Piggott Public Library, see Mrs. Amber or Mrs. Lovelace.

Students, if you are NOT a bus rider, you must wait in the classroom until the second bell. Only students who are bus riders that day leave on the first bell.
Congratulations to Emily Martin (grade 7) who placed third and Arwen Clary
(grade 8) who placed second in yesterday's Piggott District Spelling Bee! They will help to represent the Piggott School District in the Clay County Spelling Bee scheduled for Wednesday, January 31st.
