Science Interim testing will be today. We will start 3rd hour. Students your teachers have lists of the testing groups. Report to your testing room when the bell rings for 2nd hour to be over.
Thanksgiving Break will be next week – November 20-24 – No School!! We will be back in school on November 27.
All senior high basketball girls need to go to the middle gym every day this week during Advisory.
Mrs. Tate's Art I classes have created a group tessellation project. They are displayed by the art room. Everyone is encouraged to come by the art room and vote on your favorite one, superheros or prehistoric times.
Art Club is selling butter braids and cookie dough until November 30th.
Congratulations to the Art Club turkey drawing winners, 1st place: Gianna Simington, 2nd place: Chloe Turnbow, and 3rd place Tucker Dunlap. Please come to art room 5th period for prizes and picture.
The following FCCLA members will be out Tues. Nov. 28. They will be competing in the STAR Event Competition in Jonesboro. Haley Hanners, Hannah McBroome, Taylor Peters, Cason Maynard, Piper Myhre, Olivia Sexton, Olivia Blackwell, Londyn Morton, Jeanel Vaughn and Kyra Magouirk.
There will be a Holiday Card Making night in the PHS library on November 28th starting right after school until 5:00 PM. Students and staff are welcome to come make cards, have hot chocolate, and watch a holiday film. Students who participate have the opportunity to earn 1 hour of community service. Completed cards will be delivered to Magnolia Manor.
Juniors interested in taking an in-person ACT study session at ASU on Nov 28 – see Mrs. Amber to register.
Students taking the December 9th ACT can sign up with Mrs. Amber to attend an online study session. There are two sessions offered: Thursday, Nov 30 (10:00 – 11:30) and Thursday, Dec 7 (7:00 – 8:30pm)
Jostens will deliver Junior class rings on December 6. Students who have a $0 balance will get their ring that day.

Students, if you are NOT a bus rider, you must wait in the classroom until the second bell. Only students who are bus riders that day leave on the first bell.
Advisors and students be ready to decorate your doors again for Christmas as the Spanish Club will be hosting a Christmas Door Decorating Contest the week before school is out for the break.
