Today's Powderpuff Pep Rally will be in the Middle Gym instead of the New Gym.  When the bell rings at 10:18 to end 3rd hour, please go to the Middle Gym.  Seating will be reserved for each Powderpuff Team. Teams need to sit in their designated area.  Other students will sit with their grade level and Advisory Teachers will sit with your grade.

Please allow the Powderpuff Cheerleaders to be dismissed at 9:30: Gracelynn Holmes, Summer Aarlie, Grady Hendley, Marcus Blascoe, Mark Gilkison, and Tucker Dunlap.  

The voting for the pumpkins in the library has been extended to Friday (today). Everyone please go vote for your favorite.

The Spanish Club is hosting a Fall Door Decorating Contest. There will be first, second, and third-place prizes for the best-decorated doors for the Fall Season. Each Advisory Class should decorate their advisor's door. The doors should be completed by today -November 3rd and the Judging will be on November 6th with winners announced during Advisory on November 7th. 

Advisors and students be ready to decorate again for Christmas as the Spanish Club will be hosting a Christmas Door Decorating Contest the week before school is out for the break.  

FCCLA is sponsoring a Powderpuff Football Game.  It will be Friday, November 3 at the Hunter Midkiff Memorial Stadium. 9th Grade Girls vs. 10th grade Girls.  11th Grade Girls vs. 12th grade Girls. With a play-off game to see who will be champions and take home the trophy. This is a fundraiser. Tickets are $3.00 at the gate.  Come out and support your favorite Powderpuff Team.

Please excuse the following FCCLA members Thursday and Friday Nov. 9 & 10:  Haley Hanners, Hannah McBroom, Piper Myhre, Taylor Peters and Jeanel Vaughn.  They will be attending the FCCLA National Fall Conference in Birmingham, Al.

Juniors            interested in taking an in-person ACT study session at ASU on Nov 28 – see Mrs. Amber to register.

Jostens will deliver Junior class rings on December 6.  Students who have a $0 balance will get their ring that day.

Any senior interested in taking the WorkKeys assessment see Mrs. Amber.

Students, if you are NOT a bus rider, you must wait in the classroom until the second bell.  Only students who are bus riders that day leave on the first bell.

·        American Legion Scholarship – Must be children/grandchildren/great-grandchildren of American Legionnaire in good standing of 2+ year member.  Application & documents must be received by March 8, 2024.  See Mrs. Amber for application.

·        AAFC Scholarship – planning to major in the field of education – see Mrs. Amber for online link to application.  Deadline is December 1, 2023
