Any 9th-12th grade student who is in art or has taken an art class may join Art Club by paying $15 to Mrs. Tate by October 31st.
Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to vote on decorated pumpkins that were created by Mrs. Tate's advisory students. They are displayed in the library today. Only ones participating in the costume contest can vote during advisory period. 1 vote per person
FCCLA members will receive a special Halloween treat. Those in Mrs. Little class will get the treat in class. Members not in a FCS Class will need to come by Mrs. Little's room at 12:18 to pick up their treat.
Reminder: Students if you choose to wear a costume tomorrow you must pay $1.00. Those who want to be in the contest must pay an extra $1.00. FCCLA Officers will be in the cafeteria to collect money and mark your hand. See details on the signs that are posted. $35.00 1st place, $25.00 2nd place and $15.00 3rd place. Also, masks are not allowed and all costumes/characters must be school appropriate.

FCCLA Officers will be in the cafeteria Tues. morning starting at 7:30 the day of Halloween (Oct. 31). They will collect $1.00 from each student wearing a costume and that student’s hand will be marked. Those students interested in entering the costume contest will need to pay an extra $1.00 and will receive a ticket that will later be exchanged for their number card for the contest by coming to the FCS room at your designated time. There are two different contests, 7-9th grade and 10-12th. Prize for each contest: 1st Place $35, 2nd Place $25, and 3rd Place $15. Winners will also receive a Sonic Coupon Card and a Certificate. Full details about the contest are posted around school and will be emailed to the teachers. |
Senior recognition ads are due by Wednesday, November 1. Ad orders can be turned in to Mrs. Diana at the elementary school or by placing an ad online at Jostensyearbooks.com.
Powderpuff Coaches will need to meet in Mrs. Little's room during Advisory Wed. Nov. 1.
The Spanish Club is hosting a Fall Door Decorating Contest. There will be first, second, and third-place prizes for the best-decorated doors for the Fall Season. Each Advisory Class should decorate their advisor's door. The doors should be completed by November 3rd and the Judging will be on November 5th with winners announced during Advisory on November 6th.
Advisors and students be ready to decorate again for Christmas as the Spanish Club will be hosting a Christmas Door Decorating Contest the week before school is out for the break.
FCCLA is sponsoring a Powderpuff Football Game. It will be Friday, November 3 at the Hunter Midkiff Memorial Stadium. 9th Grade Girls vs. 10th grade Girls. 11th Grade Girls vs. 12th grade Girls. With a play off game to see who will be champions and take home the trophy. This is a fundraiser. Tickets are $3.00 at the gate. Come out and support your favorite Powderpuff Team.
There will be a Pep Rally during Advisory in the new gym the day of the game (Fri. Nov. 3)
Please excuse the following FCCLA members Thursday and Friday Nov. 9 & 10: Haley Hanners, Hannah McBroom, Piper Myhre, Taylor Peters and Jeanel Vaughn. They will be attending the FCCLA National Fall Conference in Birmingham, Al.
Jostens will deliver Junior class rings on December 6. Students who have a $0 balance will get their ring that day.

Students, if you are NOT a bus rider, you must wait in the classroom until the second bell. Only students who are bus riders that day leave on the first bell.
