Students:

The following class offices are still available to run for.  If you would like to run for one of these offices you can pay your class dues to me, and I will put you on the ballot.  This will be open until Tuesday, Oct 24.  We will be voting next week.

7th Grade – Secretary and 2 Representative

8th Grade – No open offices

9th Grade – President

10th Grade – Vice President, Secretary, and 2 Representative

11th Grade – 1 Representative

12th Grade – No open offices

Come by my office with your class due money if you are interested.

 

Students, if you are NOT a bus rider, you must wait in the classroom until the second bell.  Only students who are bus riders that day leave on the first bell. 

FCCLA members, Today is the meeting during Advisory Period.  If you haven't received a ticket from Mrs. Little, see her between classes.  Show this ticket to your teacher so they will know that you are coming to the meeting.  Bring the ticket with you for a chance at the door prizes.

 

 There will be a Spanish Club Meeting during Advisory tomorrow in room 232

 

Make up pictures Oct 25:  If you are wanting a re-take picture, you must bring back your proof along with money for a sitting fee --- 7th – 11th will be $5 and senior retakes will be $10

Any 9th-12th grade student who is in art or has taken an art class may join Art Club by paying $15 to Mrs. Tate by October 31st. 

FCCLA will be sponsoring the annual Halloween Costume contest - it will be Tues. Oct. 31, more details to come.

Senior recognition ads are due by Wednesday, November 1. Ad orders can be turned in to Mrs. Diana at the elementary school or by placing an ad online at Jostensyearbooks.com.  

The Spanish Club is hosting a Fall Door Decorating Contest. There will be first, second, and third-place prizes for the best-decorated doors for the Fall Season. Each Advisory Class should decorate their advisor's door. The doors should be completed by November 3rd and the Judging will be on November 5th with winners announced during Advisory on November 6th. 

Advisors and students be ready to decorate again for Christmas as the Spanish Club will be hosting a Christmas Door Decorating Contest the week before school is out for the break.  

FCCLA is sponsoring a Powderpuff Football Game.  It will be Friday, November 3 at the Hunter Midkiff Memorial Stadium. 9th Grade Girls vs. 10th grade Girls.  11th Grade Girls vs. 12th grade Girls. With a play off game to see who will be champions and take home the trophy. This is a fundraiser. Tickets are $3.00 at the gate.  Come out and support your favorite Powderpuff Team.

Seniors Info/Scholarships

  • American Legion Scholarship – Must be children/grandchildren/great-grandchildren of American Legionnaire in good standing of 2+ year member.  Application & documents must be received by March 8, 2024.  See Mrs. Amber for application.
