TEACHERS: The play hosted by TRCC will be held in the Middle Gym on Tuesday morning beginning promptly at 8:30.  This will be for 5th, 7th, and 8th grades only.  Please dismiss the 7th and 8th grade at 8:15 to go directly to the Middle Gym.

Congratulations to the FCCLA Chapter in Review Team (Ashlyn Roberts and Kaylee Smith) for receiving Gold at the state competition and advancing to Nationals in Anaheim, CA.  Jordon Leggett recieved Silver in Promote and Publicize, Adel Fuwell and Micha Ermert also received Silver in Advocacy.  So proud of all participates. 

We now have our Grab'n'Go cart set up in the high school cafeteria. Any student that didn't get breakfast will have a chance to eat again during the Activity period. It will be quick foods not hot foods. You must stay in the cafeteria with the food.

Any girl who is or has been in track who still has their uniform needs to bring it to room 240 before lunch or Coach Slaven's office after lunch this week.

Seniors:  The Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry scholarship application is available in Mrs. Amber's office.  You must have a "B" average to apply.  The deadline to receive applications is April 1, 2019

MEETINGS THIS WEEK:  

Cheer tryouts for the 2019-2020 school year will be March 15. Tryout clinic will be March 11-March 14. Sign up sheets and information packets are in the office. 

Auditions for the spring production by the Drama Club will be from 4:30 to 6:30 on Tuesday, Feb. 26, and Thursday, Feb. 28th. Students must pick up an audition packet and conflict sheet and return them before they audition. Packets will be available by Wednesday of this week.

TUESDAY, FEB 26, There will be a Spanish Club meeting for Officers Only in Mrs. Cheng's classroom.

TUESDAY, Feb 26, There will be a meeting of the Middle Level FBLA in the library??

WEDNESDAY -There will be a Drama Club meeting during activity period on Wednesday, Feb. 27th. All club members need to attend, because we will discussing the spring play and the field trip to Beauty and the Beast.

WEDNESDAY - SADIE HAWKINS The following boys and girls need to come to the new gym Wednesday during activity period for Sadie Hawkins Royalty practice also these same students will need to be dismissed early from 2nd hour on the day of the ceremony (Thursday)at 9:00 to get ready for the ceremony.

WEDNESDAY-- All money for Sadie Hawkins must be turned in this Wednesday, Feb 27. You only have a few days left so don't forget to check with others in the community about donating for Cody.  The ceremony is this Thursday during activity period and word is that Cody will get to be here.

Sadie Hawkins Royalty Assembly will be THURSDAY, Feb 28 during activity period.

Special Olympics Basketball will be FRIDAY, March 1. 

Shawn-Hudson Seegraves will be competing in the state spelling bee this Saturday, March 2.

There will be meeting of the Junior Class Parents and Students on Sunday, March 3 in the High School Library.

Juniors and Seniors: There are sign up sheets in the office to sign up for after prom and for them to include there dates that they will be taking with them.

The junior class is selling Boston Butts for an After Prom fundraiser. They will be 25.00 dollars. If you would like to order, please let Sherry Taylor know. Orders must be turned in by Friday, March 1.They will be ready for pick up on Saturday, March 9th at the PHS Gym.

Seniors: SEMO @ Kennett will be having fall registration dates on this Thurs.Feb 21 and Tuesday, March 5. If you have any questions you can call 573-888-0513.

Seniors:  Farm Credit scholarship is available online at farmcreditmidsouth.com/community/scholarships - deadline is March 8, 2019.  Applicants must be sponsored by a Farm Credit Midsouth customer.

Seniors:  The Reverend Charlie E. and Cinderella S. Taylor Sr. Foundation scholarship application is available at http://www.cctaylorfoundation.org/application.html Deadline is March 31, 2019

Seniors:  American Legion scholarship application is available in Mrs. Amber's office.  Must be child, grandchild, or great grandchild of American Legionnaire.  Application must be received at their department on or before March 12, 2019.

Seniors:  MFA scholarship application is available in Mrs. Amber's office.  Deadline is March 15, 2019.  Consideration goes to applicants furthering their education related to agriculture or other fields of study that benefit rural life.

SENIORS:  The Arkansas School Plant Management Association scholarship application is for any graduating senior planning to attend a college/university, vocational-technical or trade school who has at least a 3.0 GPA and at least a 19 on the ACT.  You must complete the application, essay, and 2 recommendation letters. See Mrs. Amber, Mrs. Conley, or Ms. Rachel for more information. Deadline is April 1.

Seniors:  The Hannah Blankenship Memorial Scholarship is available in Mrs. Amber's office.  This scholarship will be awarded to a young woman pursuing an agricultural field of study.  Applications must be submitted by April 1.

Applications for the Arkansas Rural Education Scholarship for School employee's child is available.  Due date is  April 5, 2019.  See Mrs. Amber or Mrs. Conley for application.
