These are the FCCLA members who will be competing in STAR Events and will be out all day TODAY, Tuesday, November 6:  Carly Benbrook, Jordon Leggett, , Micha Ermert, Adel Fuwell,Ashlyn Roberts, Aliya Shultz, Kaylee Smith, and Jordan Tate.

Congratulations to the Senior Mohawk Football Team-headed to the State Playoffs Friday at McGehee. Don't forget to go to Kait8 Sports and vote for the Piggott Football for Yarnell's Sweetest Play of the Week Today.

The Piggott Special Olympics brought home the following honors in Bowling last Friday: seven 1st place medals, six 2nd place medals and five 3rd place medals.

Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts will have a representative here on TODAY, Tuesday, Nov. 6 at 9:25 for 8th, 9th, & 10th graders interested in hearing about their school.  See Mrs. Amber if you would like to go to the presentation.

**The ASVAB test (for all juniors) is scheduled for Tomorrow, Wednesday Nov. 7. There will not be announcements on Wednesday.

PACE Fundraiser orders will be delivered TODAY, Tuesday. Please make arrangements to pick up your orders between 2:30-5:30 in my high school room.

LOST AND FOUND:  There have been several items from the Middle Gym turned into the office.  Please see Mrs. Shamala or Mrs. Conley if you are missing a jacket, etc.

Students planning to take the Driver's Test in November have until next Thursday, November 15 to see Mrs. Shamala about paperwork.

FBLA members attending the Grizzlies' game this Wednesday MUST turn in your Permission slips and lunch money to Mrs. Peters before the end of the day TODAY, Tuesday. TEACHERS: A list of FBLA members who will be attending the Memphis Grizzlies Pro Sports Career Day on Wednesday, November 7 has been sent to your email.. These students will be dismissed at 11:00 a.m. through the rest of the day.

The Jr. Girls, Jr. Boys, and Sr Girls Basketball teams will be playing Maynard at Home on Thursday, Nov. 8 starting at 5:30.

All Junior Historians need to go by Room 207 and get your permission slip for the upcoming field trip.

Any Beta who would like to run for an office needs to pick up an application from Mrs. Flowers this week and return them no later than Monday, November 12.

Any Beta who has not paid his or her Beta dues or who has not returned the money for the Sonic cards fundraiser needs to see Mrs. Flowers by Monday, November 12. 

Betas need to see Mrs. Flowers by Friday, November 9 for the fruit and meat fundraiser. Participating Betas will have one week to sell fruit and meat items. Orders and money must be submitted to Mrs. Flowers or Mrs. Coomer by Friday, November 16. No orders can be taken after the 16th.

Drama students: There has been a slight change of plans! Miss Vernon will only be able to take 15 of you to see The Nutcracker, due to lack of a driver for a bigger bus. These slots will fill up on a first come first paid basis. Tickets are $5. See Miss V!

**Senior Composite Pictures are here.  Letters have been sent home to parents to set up a time to view them.   Deadline is Friday, November 2, 2018. Contact Sherry Taylor at the Administration Office 598-2572 as soon as possible if you have any questions.

Who's who assembly will be this Thursday, Nov. 8 during activity period.  The Yearbook Staff is asking everyone to participate in a dedication for Gage Dodd. Come in your BEST DRESSED for the Who's Who Rally.

FFA Club Picture during activity period on next Monday, Nov. 12

There will be a Spanish Club meeting on next Tuesday, Nov. 13.

Sr. High Volleyball Players will taking pictures during activity period on next Tuesday, November 13.

There will be an Art Club meeting next Thursday,November 15th during activity period for paid members only.

Perfect Attendance Day is next Friday, Nov. 16.  Thanksgiving Break will be all week Nov. 19-23.

Seniors:  Deadline for Senior Ads for the Yearbook online is November 16.  

Seniors:  The Hagan Scholarship is available online.  Application deadline is November 15, 2018.  Application and eligibility requirements are online at www.hsfmo.org

Seniors:  American Legion scholarship application is available in Mrs. Amber's office.  Must be child, grandchild, or great grandchild of American Legionnaire.  Application must be received at their department on or before March 12, 2019.

SENIORS: Seven License2HOWL Scholarships are available for the 2018-19 academic year for incoming freshmen at Arkansas State University. These scholarships are valued at $5,000 for the year and are renewable for recipients who continue to meet criteria and re-apply.Beginning this year, we will be utilizing the application process for incoming freshmen through the University’s privately funded scholarship process. The application link will be available from December 2, 2018 - February 1, 2019. 

L2H scholarships are for Arkansas residents who will be full-time freshmen on the Jonesboro campus, have a minimum ACT score of 23 and a high school GPA of 3.25 or above. Also, please note the acceptable GPA has changed from 3.5 to 3.25 in an effort to accommodate more students, giving them the opportunity to receive one of these awards. The selection committee will evaluate demonstrated leadership qualities and student involvement.
