Teachers:  Progress Report Grades are due by the end of the day on Thursday, April 12.  Progress Reports will go out on Monday, April 16.

The Dandelion flower shop will be here on Tuesday(TODAY) to take orders for Tuxedo Rentals during activity period.  Any student who would like to order must pay a deposit fee at that time.  You may also go to the Dandelion today or tomorrow after school.  

Congratulations to the Jr. High Baseball Team for defeating Marmaduke and the Weightlifting team for winning the Mohawk Invitation Weight Meet yesterday.

Softball is scheduled to play at home today vs. Blytheville at 4:30. Baseball is scheduled to play Cave City. Please excuse the Baseball team at 1:30.

Jr. Track will be traveling to Gosnell today. Please excuse track team at 1:00.

Any faculty member involved in the Spring Testing will meet after school Wednesday. You will receive an email today if you are testing. Refreshments will be provided.

Freshmen who are interested in be a server for Prom needs to meet with Mrs. Little Wednesday, April 11 during activity period in the FCS room.

Dress Code:  Remember the length of shorts and skirts cannot be higher than the length of a dollar bill above the kneecap.  Some of us may have grown taller since last fall.  Please check your length before you leave home. Also don't forget that no spaghetti straps or strapless tops and shirts worn with leggings must be fingertip length.

Seniors: Please submit pictures to Mrs. Peters or Reagan Ralph for the Senior Video! We need one baby picture, one middle picture, and one current picture of each senior. We also need group pictures of you and your friends from all years! Please label your pictures so we can return them. Deadline to turn in pictures is next Friday, April 13.

Everyone who has personal items in the new gym or locker rooms need to remove them by Friday.  The gym will be closed for prom decorating starting Monday April 16th.

Senior High FBLA members attending the end of the year trip to Memphis must turn in your permission slips WITH money to Mrs. Peters no later than Wednesday, April 11.

Seniors:  There are 2 scholarships available for Student athletes through NEA Sports.  The Deadline is April 10.  Application can be found at www.neasports.com

Seniors:  The Piggott Elementary School Scholarship application is available in Mrs. Amber's office.  Deadline is April 27.

Seniors:  The Kalem Rouse Memorial Scholarship application is available in Mrs. Amber's office.  First priority is a graduate planning to major/minor in agriculture or related field or attend a Vo-Tech program.  Deadline is April 27.

Seniors:  If you are attending Harding University, ASU Beebe, ASU Searcy or ASU Heber --- See Mrs. Amber for a Textbook Broker scholarship application.  Deadline May 31, 2018.

Seniors:  There is also a Textbook Scholarship for UCA- Conway, Central Baptist College, Conway, and UA Community College-Morrilton.  Deadline on this one is May 4, 2018.

Seniors:  If you are attending Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, Textbook Brokers are awarding 4 students a full textbook rental scholarship for fall 2018. Deadline if May 4, 2018.  See Mrs. Amber or Mrs. Conley for link.

Did you forget to buy your yearbook? All yearbooks are now $45 and will be plain copies. Secure your copy of the 2018 PHS Mohawk today! See Miss V. in Room 224. 

***April is Child Abuse Awareness month and FCCLA would like to help make everyone aware and show support of this serious issue.   All proceeds from the t-shirt sales will be donated to the Child Help Organization. This is a service project for FCCLA, your support would be greatly appreciated. See Mrs. Little or your English Teacher for an order forms are due  Feel free to wear the t-shirt any day but we have chosen Wednesday April 11 as a day for everyone to wear the shirt.  

Lost and Found has several items that have been turned in.  If you are missing a jacket or coat, please see Mrs. Shamala or Mrs. Conley.

Seniors:  Arkansas Public Health Association (APHA) Scholarship information and application link below. APHA Student Scholarship

The APHA Student Scholarship in the amount of $1000 is given annually.  Criteria:Currently enrolled in the field of public health at an Arkansas school,Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and be in good standing,Required to sit on APHA board as a student representative,Not a previous scholarship recipient,Application Deadline:April 15, 2018, Notification of Scholarship:May 1, 2018

Seniors:  Williams Baptist University has Freshman Registration open from April 9th through May 15th.  You can call the Admissions office at 870-759-4120 to set up an appointment.

Seniors:  If you are a child or grandchild of a Farm Bureau member, have a GPA of 2.5 or higher - you can pick up a scholarship application from Mrs. Amber's office.

**Seniors:  The Clay County Cattleman's Association scholarship application is available in Mrs. Amber's office.  This is for students pursuing a degree in animal science and/or agriculture.  Deadline is April 13.
