**Seniors:  If you are a child, sibling, or grandchild of a veteran - the NEA Wounded Warrior scholarship application is available in Mrs. Amber's office.  Deadline is April 6, 2018

Seniors who are attending the Prom Banquet must see Mrs. Little by the end of the day Tuesday March 6 to sign up for the table seating chart.  Juniors need to sign up by Thursday March 8

The FCM T-shirts are here.  The cost is $8.  See Mrs. Conley on Tuesday if you ordered. There will be a few extras.

The yearbook staff needs to take the following photos during activity period on the dates below in the new gym:    ** Monday, March 5  - All track teams and the golf team.**Tuesday, March 6 - All Special Olympics Bowling Team and Basketball Team members should report to the new gym. All tennis team members should report to the new gym.**Wednesday, March 7th. The baseball team picture will be taken in the new gym at activity period. **Friday, March 9 - Softball team members should report to the new gym.

**Seniors:  The Clay County Cattleman's Association scholarship application is available in Mrs. Amber's office.  This is for students pursuing a degree in animal science and/or agriculture.  Deadline is April 13.

Miss Vernon has TWO tickets available for the Wicked field trip next week. If you are interested see her today, please!

Did you forget to buy your yearbook? All yearbooks are now $45 and will be plain copies. Secure your copy of the 2018 PHS Mohawk today! See Miss V. in Room 224. 

Jostens will be here with the senior graduation supply delivery on Monday, March 26 at 9:30 am.  All balances will need to be paid in full to receive ordered items.

Junior and Senior High cheerleaders will be doing a special Easter fundraiser this year! We will be offering a basket of candy and prize filled eggs or we will do the hiding for you the night before Easter. Both options will include a special note from the Easter bunny. Let us know if you would like to place an order!

Sophomores and Juniors interested in taking a college class next year and didn't meet with Mrs. Amber Tuesday.

***April is Child Abuse Awareness month and FCCLA would like to help make everyone aware and show support of this serious issue.   All proceeds from the t-shirt sales will be donated to the Child Help Organization. This is a service project for FCCLA, your support would be greatly appreciated. See Mrs. Little or your English Teacher for an order forms are due Thursday, March 15th.  Feel free to wear the t-shirt any day but we have chosen Wednesday April 11 as a day for everyone to wear the shirt.  

 Cheerleading Try-out Sign-up sheets and permission forms are in the office.  Tryouts will be Friday, March 16. Parent meeting will be Thursday March 8.

Students entering 11th or 12th grade NEXT year - and are interested in the Project H.E.A.R.T. camp June 12-15, 2018 on the ASU campus in Jonesboro -see Mrs. Amber to submit an application.  Deadline is March 16.  Project HEART is an experience that can enlighten students about future career opportunities in healthcare and to the overall well-being of their community.

Lost and Found has several items that have been turned in.  If you are missing a jacket or coat, please see Mrs. Shamala or Mrs. Conley.

****Seniors:  Hannah Blankenship scholarship application is available - you must have at least a 3.0 GPA, provide proof of SAE through FFA, and submit a 500-1000 essay.  Applications are available in Mrs. Amber's office.  Deadline is April 1, 2018. 

***Seniors:  RCE Vocational Scholarship application is available in Mrs. Amber's office.  This is for students going to Vo Tech or a Trade school.  The application makes you eligible for one of two scholarships - $500/$2500.  Deadline is March 28, 2018.

Seniors:  Farm Credit scholarship application is available online at farmcreditmidsouth.com/community/scholarships - deadline is March 8, 2018.  You must be sponsored by a Farm Credit Midsouth customer.

Seniors: If you are of documentable Native American descent from a federally recognized tribe - see Mrs. Amber for scholarship application.  Documentation required.  Deadline is April 16, 2018

SENIORS:  This website allows you to see the different scholarships available to  students from schools all over the country.  LSU, SEMO, Ole Miss, Univ of Tenn, Southwest Missouri State University, etc.

**Seniors:  Big Sun Scholarship.  Deadline  -  June 19, 2018   Amount of Award -$500.00 - Please visit the website at http://www.bigsunathletics.com to learn how to apply.

Seniors:  We are taking a College Day to tour BRTC-Paragould, ASU-Jonesboro and back to ASU-Paragould. The date is pending right now.  Any senior who would like to go may take a college day. If you have already used your day, you may still go but it will be an absence.  We should return by 2:30.

Seniors:  Scholarship opportunity at www.theafoundation.org/scholarships. This is for any your artist, poet, fashion designer, performer, or filmmaker. You do not have to major in an art-related field.  This is good for any 2-yr or 4-yr college in AR.
