Announcements 3-5-2021
**ATTENTION SENIORS: Senior cap and gown composite pictures will be taken Wednesday, March 17 from 9 am till 1 pm in the PHS library. There will NOT be a make up day. There will be a $10 sitting fee that must be paid the day of pictures. The sitting fee will include an 8 X 10 copy of the senior composite. Boys should wear a collared button down shirt and girls should wear a dressy top or blouse. Bring your cap and gown to school.
The After Prom Committee is hosting a COED Volleyball tournament - Saturday March 13th. There will be an Elementary, Jr High, Sr High, and Adult division. $30 per team. Pre register by March 10. See Mrs. Amber for registration information.
FBLA senior high and middle level members are selling Little Caesar's pizza kits. If any member needs a brochure for selling, see Mrs. Peters. Orders with money are due next Wednesday, March 10.

**Seniors: Mrs. Amber has the Clay County Farm Bureau Scholarship application in her office. You must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better and must be a child or grandchild of an active Clay County Farm Bureau member. Preference goes toward seeking a degree in agriculture or the medical field, but it is not a requirement. Deadline is April 15, 2021
Cheerleading tryouts will be March 15-19 for students in 6-11 grades. To sign up for junior high (grades 6-8) email Quest Emerson and to sign up for senior high (grades 9-11) email Jenna Mobley. You can also email if you have any questions about tryouts.
This Friday, March 5 is a FLEX DAY. We will have Flex days on Fridays until further notice. Students coming to school should report to the cafeteria. Breakfast and Lunch will be served.
The end of 3rd nine weeks is next Friday, March 12. Grades must be in the computer by the end of the day on Monday, March 15 but grades must be posted as of March 12. Parent-Teacher Conference will be Thursday, March 18. Spring Break will be March 22-26. 7th/8th Grade Wheel Classes will change after Spring Break.
The ACT for ALL Juniors will be Tuesday, March 9. Friday, March 5, the Virtual 11th graders will meet at 9:00 a.m. to do pre-test information for the ACT.
Jr and Sr High Girls and Boys Track practice after school every day until 4:30 and early on Fridays until further notice or if Coach Collier has informed you otherwise. Come prepared and dressed for practice.
Jr fair board applications are available in the front office.
Attention Students and Teachers: --NO HATS are allowed on campus. Hoods must be removed upon coming into any building.
--You MUST WEAR MASKS in the hallway and in classes that cannot be socially distanced. Please also put your masks ON anytime you are mobile including the cafeteria during lunch. Students must come in the cafeteria/building when arriving at school. No one is to stay in vehicles in the parking lot or leave campus.
--If you are caught throwing food in the cafeteria you will stay after lunch and clean the whole cafeteria.
--PLEASE carry a water bottle as you are not able to get a drink from the fountain unless you have a bottle. It can be a disposable type or a reusable type.

**Textbook Scholarship for Fall 2021. Each scholarship will cover the full cost of books for the Fall 2021 semester. We will choose 2 winners at UCA, Conway and UACCM, Morrilton, then one winner for CBC, Conway. We will announce the winners on Facebook and Instagram, May 15th 2021. Students can also visit our website www.conwaybooks.com and fill out the scholarship form under our "info" tab. One entry person.

**Seniors: The Holly Mauldin Alonzo New Beginnings Scholarship application is now available. Email Mrs. Amber for the application. Applications will be accepted until April 30, 2021.
**Seniors: The American Legion Scholarship application is available in Mrs. Amber's office. You must be a child, grandchild, or great grandchild of an American Legionnaire. Applications must be received by March 12,2021.
***Seniors: Abbott and Fenner Scholarship Program-Abbott & Fenner Business Consultants are pleased to be able to continue with our scholarship program for the 15th year. We will be awarding up to $1,000 to the winner(s) each year. Scholarship Deadline - June 12, 2021.
