Mohawks and Lady Mohawks Basketball teams will play Maynard at home on Thursday night and Melbourne at home on Friday night with the first games starting at 4:00 p.m.

The Basketball Homecoming game will be next Thursday, January 11 vs. Hoxie.

The Archery Team will meet today after school at the Elementary School.

All senior high FBLA members who are participating in competition this year should meet in the library today during Activity Period. 

The 7-12 Piggott Mohawk Football awards banquet will be Saturday January 6 @ 6:00pm in the new gym.

Students need to see Mrs. Shamala by 1/19 for driver test forms for January.  

There will be a Student Council meeting on Friday, January 5 during activity period.

Teachers, the following students will participate in the PiggottDistrict Spelling Bee this Friday, January 5:
Madison Arenaz, Amber Fenton, William Lawton, Shawn-Hudson 
Seegraves, Nate Lemmons, Tyson Peters, Logan White, and
Rebecca Woolery.

The students will leave the high school at 8:30am, and the spelling bee will begin at 9am in the elementary library. The students will return to the high school after the spelling bee. 

Lost and Found has several items that have been turned in.  If you are missing a jacket or coat, please see Mrs. Shamala or Mrs. Conley.

Seniors:  We are taking a College Day to tour BRTC-Paragould, ASU-Jonesboro and back to ASU-Paragould. The date is pending right now.  Any senior who would like to go may take a college day. If you have already used your day, you may still go but it will be an absence.  We should return by 2:30.

Seniors:  Scholarship opportunity at www.theafoundation.org/scholarships. This is for any your artist, poet, fashion designer, performer, or filmmaker. You do not have to major in an art-related field.  This is good for any 2-yr or 4-yr college in AR.

Online orders may be paid with a debit or credit card, but be aware they will have 10% sales tax collected. Students:  Blankets are not permitted in class.

Students:  Only Basketball Players will get into Basketball games free.  Football and Volleyball players must pay admission. Also Band must pay unless in Pep Band and playing that night.

Students:  The new door locks are now working.  You have one minute after the tardy bell rings before the door locks re-engage.  You may have to walk around to the front doors unless you are walking in later with a teacher.  Please be diligent about getting where you are supposed to be in a timely manner.

Students:  When you arrive at school, you must come into the cafeteria.  Please do not stay in vehicles or walk off campus. Duty teachers will make room for you when you come in the doors.  Do NOT park in the VFW Building Parking Lot or by the Old Gym.

Students: Cell phones may used in the cafeteria ONLY- not in the hall way going to the cafeteria.
