Progress Reports will go out on Thursday, Sept. 24. Virtual Students Progress Reports will be mailed.  

Homecoming is Tonight, Friday, Sept. 25 vs. Manila. 

Homecoming Royalty Presentation will be at 6:00 p.m. this evening

There are Buttons to honor Hunter Midkiff for sale in the office for $3. Proceeds from the button sales will go to a scholarship fund in memory of Hunter.

It is time for Chess Club sign-ups for grades 7-12. Please see Mrs. Cassie Knight. Deadline to sign-up is September 29th.

NOTE: Date Change for School Pictures is Tuesday,Oct. 6. This will be for all grades 7-12. Senior Pictures will be made first with 7-11th grade following. Virtual students picture day is Monday, Oct. 5.

2020-2021 PHS yearbook order forms were sent home. There is a payment plan to help our families.  Online ordering is available at Jostensyearbooks.com.

The Health Dept. will be providing their annual FLU clinic for students and staff at Piggott High School on Wednesday, October 7th. Forms will be available in the front office at PHS and must be completed and returned in order to receive the flu shot.

See you at the Pole will be postponed this year. We hope to have it soon. See Mrs. Conley if you would to take a part in the program this year.

Students,It is time to join FCCLA! If you are in Mrs.Little's class or have been in Mrs. Little's classes you qualify to join. The dues are $15.00 again this year you will also receive a Sonic card value of at least $5.00. See Mrs. Little to join.

Any student in grades 7-12 who wants to join FBLA or ML FBLA should see Mrs Peters. Sr High and Middle Level FBLA have decided to let members choose whether they want a t- shirt this year, therefore dues will only be $10. Orders and Money for shirts will be collected later for those who want one. Fall conference details will be available soon.

*** University of Central Arkansas is hosting a preview night  scheduled for Oct. 13 on Zoom. Students will learn about both of their honors programs, the Schedler Honors College and the University Scholars Program, as well as hear from current honors students, take a virtual tour of the honors housing, and learn about the application process.All high school seniors with a GPA of 3.5 or higher are eligible to apply to UCA's Honors College.  See Mrs. Amber for a flyer containing more information.

CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBILITY: Must be a graduating senior from an Arkansas high school (AAA member) for the school year 2020-2021. Must be attending an Arkansas college or junior college (private or public) as a freshman the following fall 2021. Students attending out of state colleges are not eligible. Must submit an essay to the ASHOF for evaluation. The essay should state how sports has positively impacted your life. This essay must be submitted online by December 31, 2020. All submissions after this date will not be considered.

THE ESSAY SHOULD BE NO LONGER THAN THE FRONT OF ONE STANDARD TYPEWRITTEN PAGE, SINGLE-SPACED. Essays longer than one page will NOT be accepted. Quality over quantity. Only the first 100 essays submitted to the ASHOF will be considered for review for the scholarships.
