The PJHS Cheerleaders are doing a "Pie in the face" fundraiser. You may vote for whichever person that you would like to see get pied next Friday night at the Meet the Mohawks event. The participates are Police Chief Jeremi Wicker, Mayor Travis Williams, School Board Member Chris Roberts, and Country Mart owner Chuck Emerson. The Buckets are in the high school office and at Country Mart. Proceeds will go to the Burns family.
Gift Basket Giveaway: There are 4 gift baskets full of goodies that will be given away this Friday night at meet the Mohawks. $1.00 a chance or sellers arm length for $10.00. All proceeds will be given to the Hope Burns family. If you would like to see what is in the baskets stop by Mrs. Little's room between classes. Art Club's baskets has lots of snacks $25.00 value, Beta basket has lots of snacks and a Visa gift card worth $25.00 total basket worth $50.00. The FCCLA baskets worth about $30.00 each, lots of treats, tshirts (one large long sleeve homecoming t-shirt, football, This Girl Can Sign and other misc. items. The National School Plant Management Association (NSPMA) seeks to assist qualified students who are continuing their education by offering scholarships to those pursuing an Associates or Bachelor degree. Seniors: Williams Baptist University is offering a Williams Works program. This is a work initiative starting next fall at Williams Baptist University that will cover the cost of education and give you the opportunity to graduate debt free. The student needs to apply for admissions and the Williams Works program. The minimum ACT is a 19 and they must have their FAFSA complete by January.
