 Powderpuff Football will be TONIGHT, Monday Nov. 4 at 6:00 at Parker Field.

FCCLA members who are interested in helping with the Powderpuff Game need to sign up.  See an FCCLA Officer or come by Mrs. Little's room.  Special incentive  for those who will work on the clean-up crew.

The following seniors have not turned in baby pictures for the yearbook. You have until Monday, Nov. 4 to get them turned in to Mrs. Natalie.  Jamara Ball, Lucas Chase, Austyn Crow, Destany Graves, Hayden Jackson, Amber Reed, Haley Shumate, Daniel Spinks, and Taylor Williamson.

The PJHS Cheerleaders are doing a "Pie in the face" fundraiser.  You may vote for whichever person that you would like to see get pied next Friday night at the Meet the Mohawks event.  The participates are Police Chief Jeremi Wicker, Mayor Travis Williams, School Board Member Chris Roberts, and Country Mart owner Chuck Emerson.  The Buckets are in the high school office and at Country Mart.  Proceeds will go to the Burns family. 

THIS WEEK in SPORTS:   Sr Football will play at Corning thisThursday night at 7:00.  This is the Rice Bowl game. Dress warmly and go support our Mohawks.

School picture make-up day will be Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019. Students who were absent on the first picture day need to have their pictures taken on make-up day even if they are not buying packages. If you purchased a package but would like to have your child’s picture retaken, there will be a $10.00 retake fee. You will also need to return the original package.  

ASVAB for all Juniors Wednesday November 6 in the Middle Gym.

There will be a Sr. High Pep Rally this Thursday, November 7 during activity period.

MEET THE BASKETBALL MOHAWKS-  November 8th beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the High School Gymnasium. There will be tailgating, showcase games, and Seniors vs Coaches.  Free Chili Dogs!

Deadline without late fees for the December 14 ACT test given at PHS is Friday, November 8.

MICROWAVES IN THE CAFETERIA - Students please wipe out the microwaves in the cafeteria after using.  This is not the cafeteria workers responsibility.  If you use the microwaves, please help us to be able to keep them by doing your part. Thank you.

The National School Plant Management Association (NSPMA) seeks to assist qualified students who are continuing their education by offering scholarships to those pursuing an Associates or Bachelor degree. Individual scholarships may range from $500 up to $1,500 depending on the candidate’s interest, evaluation results, and recommendation from the NSPMA Scholarship Committee. Click on link below for application packet for (NSPMA). NSPMA Scholarship 2020  

Seniors:  Williams Baptist University is offering a Williams Works program.  This is a work initiative starting next fall at Williams Baptist University that will cover the cost of education and give you the opportunity to graduate debt free.  The student needs to apply for admissions and the Williams Works program. The minimum ACT is a 19 and they must have their FAFSA complete by January.

 Seniors:  SEMO is hosting  Show Me Days on Nov 22, Feb 17, and March 28.  You can register at semo.edu/showmeday

Seniors:  Sixt Rent A Car be awarding 5 students $5,000 towards their study at any 2 or 4 year course at an accredited university.  To learn more about the  scholarship please check out:  https://www.sixt.com/sixt-scholars/ Deadline is November 30, 2019

Seniors:  If you are a child, grandchild, or great grandchild of an American Legionnaire.  Stepchildren of living Legionnaires may apply if their parent is currently married to the Legion member.  Children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren of deceased Legionnaires are also eligible.  See Mrs. Amber for an application.  Application and documents must be received by March 13, 2020.
