Congrats to the Jr High/Sr High volleyball teams for defeating Cave City.
Josten's will return TODAY Wednesday,October 9 to take orders for Jr Rings and Senior Items. Deposits are required at the time of order.
The Art Club will be face painting Friday for homecoming during 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th. The cost is $1 per side, $3 whole face.
9th Grade FFA members that are interested in competing on the CCM team meet in the Ag room during activity period. Thanks
FBLA members attending Fall Conference tomorrow (Thursday), don't forget: Senior High members meet in the new gym lobby at 7:05, Middle Level members meet in the new gym lobby by 7:25. All members should be in FBLA attire.
Teachers of 8th grade students: Mrs. Veal has sent out an email of those students who need to come to her classroom to do make-up work during activity period.
Teachers: Please remember grades need to be in the computer by the end of the day on Thursday October 17th. You will load to gradebook on Progress Reports unless you teach Wheel classes. Parent Teacher conference is on Tuesday October 22nd 3:30-7:00.
Matthew Cheshire will be out October 8th and 9th for State Golf.
Teachers: Yearbook member Ryleigh Laden will be going around 4th hour all this week taking pictures for spirit week.

There will be a pep rally at the elementary school Friday morning. Senior high cheerleaders, football players, volleyball players, band, and Chandler Smart will be meeting at the elementary school that morning. Please excuse them from 1st hour that day. High School Band to meet at the Safe Room at 7:45am for the Pep Rally at the Elementary School.
Please excuse the High School Band at 12:30pm on Friday to meet in the Safe Room to get ready for the High School Pep Rally and parade.
The College Fair at PHS will be next Tuesday, Oct 15 from 9:00-11:00.
The following seniors have not turned in baby pictures for the yearbook. You have until Nov. 4 to get them turned in to Mrs. Natalie. Megan Burke, Jamara Ball, Lucas Chase, Austyn Crow, Destany Graves, Hayden Jackson, Amber Reed, Haley Shumate, Daniel Spinks, and Taylor Williamson.
Seniors: Williams Baptist University is offering a Williams Works program. This is a work initiative starting next fall at Williams Baptist University that will cover the cost of education and give you the opportunity to graduate debt free. The student needs to apply for admissions and the Williams Works program. The minimum ACT is a 19 and they must have their FAFSA complete by January.
Any Beta member who would like to run for an office needs to see Mrs. Flowers to pick up an application. Applications are due by Wednesday, October 16.
Any Beta member or invitee who has not already paid this year's dues needs to see Mrs. Flowers or Mrs. Coomer by Wednesday, October 16.

Monday Night Football coming soon! Powderpuff Football has been rescheduled for Monday night Nov. 4 at 6:30 at Parker Field.
Any FBLA member interested in attending the Memphis Grizzlies' Pro Sports Career Day on November 6 should turn in forms and money no later than October 16.

Seniors: If you are a child, grandchild, or great grandchild of an American Legionnaire. Stepchildren of living Legionnaires may apply if their parent is currently married to the Legion member. Children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren of deceased Legionnaires are also eligible. See Mrs. Amber for an application. Application and documents must be received by March 13, 2020.

Student Essay/Speaking Contest – Entry Deadline Oct. 23rd. For the second year, the Arkansas School Boards Association is holding a personal essay/speaking contest where 11th and 12th grade students will have an opportunity to present before an audience of more than 600 school board members and administrators during the ASBA Annual Conference, held December 11-13, 2018 at the Marriott Hotel and Statehouse Convention Center in downtown Little Rock.
