Welcome Back everyone!
Teachers: Please send Mrs. Shamala or Mrs. Conley a list of any students still on your rosters that are not in your class.
Students interested in taking college classes from ASU or students who have already registered for ASU classes will meet with Mrs. Barbara Doyle on Friday, August 16 (tomorrow) during activity period in the computer lab.
BETA Announcements--1. Any 10th, 11th, or 12th grade student who has never been invited to join Beta may bring a copy of his or her transcript to Mrs. Flowers in room 225 by Friday, August 30 to check eligibility.
2. Former Betas who wish to remain in the club need to pay the $10 dues to Mrs. Flowers by the end of September.
3. Any student who received an invitation to join Beta needs to return the acceptance letter and the $20 dues to Mrs. Coomer by the end of September.
Any student in grades 9-12th who would like to run Cross Country should go by Coach Brantley's classroom to sign up.
Any student grades 9-12 who is interested in playing Tennis this year should see Coach Seegraves by the end of the day on Friday.
IMPORTANT: Bus passing laws have gotten stricter. Fines for passing a bus with flashing lights are now from $500-$2500, you could have your license suspended and possible jail time. Please drive safely.
STUDENTS: There are going to be 2 new microwaves in the cafeteria this year. These were bought by the PHS Student Council and Renaissance committee. Cafeteria workers are not responsible for the clean-up of the microwaves or the area. Please do not put anything metal in the microwaves and USE paper towels to prevent messes. If you are interested in being part of the PHS Student Council this year, you should run for the offices- representative or president-in your class or club.
Deadline for the Sept. 14 ACT here at PHS is this Friday, Aug 16.
