MEALS AT NO COST IS EXTENDED FOR THE 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR

The Piggott School District is pleased to announce that breakfasts and lunches will be served to all students at NO CHARGE during the 2021-2022 school year. It is not necessary to complete a meal application for free or reduced priced meals as The United States Department of Agriculture has extended meal benefits to all students at this time. For households who wish to complete a meal application, they are available to print off on our school website at www.piggottschools.net or call/email Jean Baber, Child Nutrition Director, at jean.baber@piggottschools.net or 870-598-2546 for more information.

These meal benefits do not include a la carte items sold in the cafeteria. If students wish to purchase items a la cart, they will need to have money for those purchases.

All adults, e.g., visitors, teachers, support staff members and administrators of the district must assume the full cost of the meal.

There is no need to complete a meal application unless your student had a “paid” status or no meal status for SY 2020-2021 and you would like to qualify for the PEBT card. Please contact Jean Baber at jean.baber@piggottschools.net or 870-598-2546 for an application form or once can be printed from our school website at www.piggottschools.net
