Announcements 5-24-2021

Counseling will be available in Room 234 this morning. Students may talk to the counselors if needed.

STUDENTS:  Monday, May 24, we will be set up in the library to collect Chromebooks, Chargers, and Hot Spots.  Also, we will collect books for the virtual students.

Juniors:  Check your school email. Mrs. Amber has emailed you a form that you need to fill out. 

A red mailbox (Care Box) has been placed outside the art room for students to write down their needs or thoughts.  There are forms located near it, or you can write on any other piece of paper.  They can be signed or left anonymous.  The Care Box will be checked every day.

The Art I classes would like to invite everyone to their printmaking exhibit located on the bulletin board beside the art room. The theme is Welcome to Our Zoo. On Wednesday, limited edition prints will be sold for $1.

Callie Henson and Natalie Small will be excused to go to the elementary school on Tuesday, May 25.  Please do not count them absent.

The 7-11th Grade Awards Ceremonies will be held on Tuesday, May 25.  7/8th grade ceremony will begin at 1:00 followed by the 9-11th grade at 1:30.

There is a yearbook for Hunter Midkiff in the office. Hunter's father bought it and would like for anyone that would like to sign it or write a message to do so.

Teachers:  Grades for 7-11th grades need to be in the computer by the end of the day on May 26th.Please make sure you click Load to gradebook in Report Cards for 18 week and Semester.

Friday, May 28 is the final day to submit paperwork for the following concurrent classes:  Comp I/II, Experiencing Art, Speech, US Hist I/II, World Civ I/II, Beginning Spanish I/II.

Students entering grades 10-12 interested in applying for a "Nurse Camp" see Mrs. Amber for an application.  Camp is June 23-25.  Deadline to apply is June 1st.

FBLA T-shirts are in! Please bring $5 to Mrs. Peters to pick up your shirt before TOMORROW, Tuesday.

Any boy and girl going into 9th - 12th grades interested in playing tennis next year needs to sign-up in Coach Seegraves's office. 

If you are needing to attend Summer School to make up half of a credit for a core class- See Mrs. Amber to get on the list.  You will have to attend summer school.  You will not be able to do it virtually. The dates are June 2 - June 30 --8:00 - 12:00  Monday  - Thursday

Boys' physicals will be in the New Gym beginning at 8:30 on Tuesday, May 25th.

Girls' physicals will be in the New Gym at beginning 8:30 on Wednesday, May 26th.

Athletes will be placing flags for Memorial Day at the cemetery at 9:00 on THURSDAY, May 27th.

Any student grades 7-11 who wants to join band next year needs to see Mr. Coyle.  Former members are also welcome to rejoin! Please speak with him before the end of the semester. 

 Students:  There are some students who are not going to the front of the building during class when the doors are locked.  Please do not beat on the end doors during class time.  You should enter through the front door of the building.

Students and Teachers:  The mask policy is still in effect for the remaining school year. ----You MUST WEAR MASKS in the hallway and in classes that cannot be socially distanced. Please also put your masks ON anytime you are mobile including the cafeteria during lunch.  Students must come in the cafeteria/building when arriving at school. No one is to stay in vehicles in the parking lot or leave campus.   --NO HATS are allowed on campus.  Hoods must be removed upon coming into any building.  -PLEASE carry a water bottle as you are not able to get water from the fountain unless you have a bottle.  It can be a disposable type or a reusable type.  The only drink permitted in the building is WATER. Sodas, Monster Drinks, and Drink mixes in the water is not permitted.

Students:  Please check the office for items that have been lost or misplaced.
