BASKETBALL PICTURES--Frank Staples will be here today starting at 8:30 to take 7th-SH boys and girls basketball pictures. 

Senior High Girls will play Harrisburg at Home tonight at 6.

The ACT for the juniors will be Tuesday,March 9.

Thursday, February 25 is the last day to order a yearbook. Very few extra copies will be ordered so get yours ordered today. Orders can be placed online at jostensyearbooks.com or by turning orders in to Mrs. Natalie. A payment plan is available when ordering online.

FBLA will be selling cookies this Thursday during 5th period. Officers will sell to individual classrooms. Cookies will be $.75 each. No pre orders unless you order online. Limited quantities available.

Congratulations to the following FBLA members for placing at Districts and qualifying to compete at state: First Place Awards: Natalie Boyd and Elise Gossett, Tyson Peters, Rosie Garcia and Skylar Stone, Chandler Smart, Macey Williams and Hayden Blue, Anna Haley, Micha Harrell, Dixie Book and Maddy Wintizer, Madison Arenaz, Braden Deckard, Alyssa Russell, and Lexey Stone. Second Place Awards: Emily Conley, Rebecca Woolery; Third Place Awards: Mycah Blascoe and Paylee Myhre, Corbin Chronister; Fourth Place Award: Olivia Woolard, Sixth Place Award: Hailey Thompson. Tyson Peters received Who’s Who Highest Honors and Skylar Stone was elected as the District II Secretary.

This Friday, February 26 is a FLEX DAY.  We will have Flex days on Fridays until further notice.  Students coming to school should report to the cafeteria.  Breakfast and Lunch will be served.

Attention Students and Teachers:  NO HATS are allowed on campus.  Hoods must be removed upon coming into any building.

You MUST WEAR MASKS in the hallway and in classes that cannot be socially distanced. Please also put your masks on anytime you are mobile including the cafeteria during lunch.  Students must come in the cafeteria/building when arriving at school. No one is to stay in vehicles in the parking lot or leave campus. This is not a new rule.

Students:  If you are caught throwing food in the cafeteria you will stay after lunch and clean the whole cafeteria. This is from Mrs. Jean and per Mr. Seegraves.

Junior After Prom Committee is hosting a 3 on 3 basketball tournament on February 27.  Entry fee is $30.  See Mrs. Amber for more details.  Please register by Feb 25.

The PHS Pre-AP ART class is selling pillows for $5.60 or $6 donation near the art room.  See Mrs. Tate if interested.  The proceeds will go to the Hunter Midkiff scholarship fund and to the Gilbee Family. 

Attention Students: PLEASE carry a water bottle as you are not able to get a drink from the fountain unless you have a bottle.  It can be a disposable type or a reusable type.  

2020-2021 PHS yearbook order forms were sent home. There is a payment plan to help our families. Online ordering is available at Jostensyearbooks.com.

**STUDENTS: Please remember that when they get up from the lunch tables you must have their masks on.

Seniors:  The Holly Mauldin Alonzo New Beginnings Scholarship application is now available.  Email Mrs. Amber for the application.  Applications will be accepted until April 30, 2021.

**Seniors: The American Legion Scholarship application is available in Mrs. Amber's office. You must be a child, grandchild, or great grandchild of an American Legionnaire. Applications must be received by March 12,2021.

****University of Central Arkansas -The Windgate Scholarship is based on talent and financial need and can be worth up to $2,000 per semester in the freshman year, based on amount of financial need. The scholarship is renewable and can increase up to $1,000 each year.  In the senior year, up to $5,000 per semester can potentially be awarded.  Two such scholarships will be awarded to incoming freshmen for the 2021-2022 academic year. To be eligible for the Scholarship, students must do the following:

1)    Complete on-line submission of an FAFSA form by the deadline indicated in the Application.   Instructions for accessing the form are provided in the Application; 2)        Return a completed Application, along with the requested materials, via United States Mail, to my office by the deadline shown in the Application; 3)   Plan to declare Art as their major emphasis of study; and, 4)  Attend the University of Central Arkansas in the fall 2021 semester.

***Seniors: Abbott and Fenner Scholarship Program-Abbott & Fenner Business Consultants are pleased to be able to continue with our scholarship program for the 15th year. We will be awarding up to $1,000 to the winner(s) each year.   Scholarship Deadline   -  June 12, 2021.
