Parent-Teacher Conferences will be TODAY, Tuesday, Oct. 20 from 3:30-7:00. An area will be set up in the cafeteria for parents to come pick up their child's grade reports. If a parent wants to speak with a teacher then he/she will be escorted by an aide to the high school building. Parking will be in front of the cafeteria and new gym. Masks will be required.
Seniors- Baby pictures for the yearbook are due no later than Monday, October 26. In-person students may turn their pictures in to Mrs. Natalie. Virtual students may turn their pictures in to Mrs. Diana in the Elementary Parent Center or by emailing a scanned copy to email@example.com Thank you!
Friday, Oct. 23 will be a Remote Learning Day. All instruction on this day will be virtual.
**The rules about no pajamas at school (with the exception on Homecoming-pajama day) and no hats or hoods are still being enforced. Please continue to wear your masks. The masks should also be ABOVE your nose.
7th and 8th Grade Wheel classes will change on Wednesday, Oct 21.
REMINDER: Students must come in the cafeteria/building when arriving at school. No one is to stay in vehicles in the parking lot or leave campus. This is not a new rule.
Students interested in attending the FBLA Fall Conference on November 4 must pay $15 dues and fees and complete the online registration no later than this WEDNESDAY October 21. See Mrs. Peters for details.

Seniors: Williams Baptist University has in-person Preview Days available for this fall - this Friday, October 23 and November 13. Go to www.williamsbu.edu/preview/ to register. Williams Baptist University offers a Williams Works Program which is a work program where students will work 16 hours a week and receive a work scholarship to cover tuition. Seniors: The American Legion Scholarship application is available in Mrs. Amber's office. You must be a child, grandchild, or great grandchild of an American Legionnaire. Applications must be received by March 12,2021.
Juniors and Seniors: The Arkansas School Boards Association is holding a personal essay/speaking contest. Email Mrs. Amber if you are interested.
*** University of Central Arkansas is hosting a preview night scheduled for Oct. 13 on Zoom. Students will learn about both of their honors programs, the Schedler Honors College and the University Scholars Program, as well as hear from current honors students, take a virtual tour of the honors housing, and learn about the application process. All high school seniors with a GPA of 3.5 or higher are eligible to apply to UCA's Honors College. See Mrs. Amber for a flyer containing more information.

Must be attending an Arkansas college or junior college (private or public) as a freshman the following fall 2021. Students attending out of state colleges are not eligible. Must submit an essay to the ASHOF for evaluation. The essay should state how sports has positively impacted your life. This essay must be submitted online by December 31, 2020. All submissions after this date will not be considered. THE ESSAY SHOULD BE NO LONGER THAN THE FRONT OF ONE STANDARD TYPEWRITTEN PAGE, SINGLE-SPACED. Essays longer than one page will NOT be accepted.
