Seniors must turn in their Senior Profile paper and Senior Quotes by January 25 to Sherry Taylor.  If you need forms  in the front office. 

 SR Girls Basketball teams will play Gosnell at Home on Thursday TONIGHT.

Boys Basketball will play at Gosnell on Friday. Please dismiss at 2:50.

Please excuse the Senior High Cheerleaders  at 2:15 Today for yearbook pictures. 

Basketball Homecoming is Tuesday, January 22. Any student who would like to order a Basketball Homecoming t-shirt may pick up a form from your English teacher or Mrs. Little. Shirts will be delivered the Friday before Homecoming.  Short sleeve shirts are $15.00 and long sleeve shirts are $22.00.  Orders must be turned in by Thursday Jan. 10 by noon.

Please excuse the FCCLA Officers 2nd thru 5th hour today.  They will be working in the FCS room. 

10th Grade and 11th Grade Class Officers  will be taking group pictures in the library on Monday.

Any 7th or 8th grade boy who would like to play Jr. High Baseball needs to meet in Coach Rabjohn's room #239 on Friday during activity period.

ALL Band Students 7-12 grade will meet in the New Gym during activity period on Friday for pictures.

Senior Girls Basketball members should meet in the Middle Gym TODAY Thursday during activity pd.

There will be a meeting of the DRAMA Club on Tuesday during activity period.

Next Thursday, students will meet with their CAPS advisors during activity period. Next Friday morning, there will a Class Competition in the gym.  Times TBD.

This Friday, January 11 is the last day to register for the Feb. 9 ACT without late fees. This test will not be given at PHS.

Attn: Spanish club members pictures will be Wed. Jan. 16th at 8:40 in the new gym. Please come to cafeteria at 8:35 to get your shirts for the picture.

Seniors:  American Legion scholarship application is available in Mrs. Amber's office.  Must be child, grandchild, or great grandchild of American Legionnaire.  Application must be received at their department on or before March 12, 2019.

SENIORS: Seven License2HOWL Scholarships are available for the 2018-19 academic year for incoming freshmen at Arkansas State University. These scholarships are valued at $5,000 for the year and are renewable for recipients who continue to meet criteria and re-apply.Beginning this year, we will be utilizing the application process for incoming freshmen through the University’s privately funded scholarship process. The application link will be available from December 2, 2018 - February 1, 2019. 

L2H scholarships are for Arkansas residents who will be full-time freshmen on the Jonesboro campus, have a minimum ACT score of 23 and a high school GPA of 3.25 or above. Also, please note the acceptable GPA has changed from 3.5 to 3.25 in an effort to accommodate more students, giving them the opportunity to receive one of these awards. The selection committee will evaluate demonstrated leadership qualities and student involvement.

Seniors:  If you plan on majoring in education and enroll in an Arkansas college you can apply for the AAFC Scholarship. Go to www.theaaea.org.  Click "Constituent Groups", “AAFC”, then “AAFC Scholarship.”  The completed application must be received on or before January 10, 2019.

SENIORS:  https://nspma.org/wp-content/u...The National School Plant Management Association (NSPMA) seeks to assist qualified students who are continuing their education by offering scholarships to those pursuing an Associates or Bachelor degree.  Any graduating high school senior, college freshman, sophomore, or junior is eligible to apply for a scholarship. The total number of scholarship awards is based on the NSPMA Scholarship Trust Funds, and awards are based on the selection criteria (financial need, academic achievement, co-curricular participation, community service, and essay response). Individual scholarships may range from $500 up to $1,500 depending on the candidate’s interest, evaluation results, and recommendation from the NSPMA Scholarship Committee. The application receipt deadline is February 1, 2019.  For additional information, please contact Mike Mertens.    2019 NSPMA Scholarship
