Teachers:  Progress report grades must be in by the end of the day on Tuesday, Nov. 13. Progress Reports will go out on Thursday, Nov. 15.

Seniors:  If you plan on majoring in education and enroll in an Arkansas college you can apply for the AAFC Scholarship. Go to www.theaaea.org.  Click "Constituent Groups", “AAFC”, then “AAFC Scholarship.”  The completed application must be received on or before January 10, 2019.

Seniors:  Deadline for Senior Ads for the Yearbook online is November 16.  

Late Registration Deadline for the Dec. 8 ACT test given at PHS is Nov. 18.

LOST AND FOUND:  There have been several items from the Middle Gym turned into the office.  Please see Mrs. Shamala or Mrs. Conley if you are missing a jacket, etc.

Students planning to take the Driver's Test in November have until next Thursday, November 15 to see Mrs. Shamala about paperwork.

All Junior Historians need to go by Room 207 and get your permission slip for the upcoming field trip on November 30.

Any Beta who would like to run for an office needs to pick up an application from Mrs. Flowers this week and return them no later than Monday, November 12.

Any Beta who has not paid his or her Beta dues or who has not returned the money for the Sonic cards fundraiser needs to see Mrs. Flowers by Monday, November 12. 

Betas need to see Mrs. Flowers by Friday, November 9 for the fruit and meat fundraiser. Participating Betas will have one week to sell fruit and meat items. Orders and money must be submitted to Mrs. Flowers or Mrs. Coomer by Friday, November 16. No orders can be taken after the 16th.

Drama students: There has been a slight change of plans! Miss Vernon will only be able to take 15 of you to see The Nutcracker, due to lack of a driver for a bigger bus. These slots will fill up on a first come first paid basis. Tickets are $5. See Miss V!

Sr. High Volleyball Players will taking pictures during activity period on next Wednesday, November 14.

Seniors:  A representative from ATU will be here on Wednesday, Dec 5 during activity period in the library.

Seniors:  The Hagan Scholarship is available online.  Application deadline is November 15, 2018.  Application and eligibility requirements are online at www.hsfmo.org

Seniors:  American Legion scholarship application is available in Mrs. Amber's office.  Must be child, grandchild, or great grandchild of American Legionnaire.  Application must be received at their department on or before March 12, 2019.

SENIORS: Seven License2HOWL Scholarships are available for the 2018-19 academic year for incoming freshmen at Arkansas State University. These scholarships are valued at $5,000 for the year and are renewable for recipients who continue to meet criteria and re-apply.Beginning this year, we will be utilizing the application process for incoming freshmen through the University’s privately funded scholarship process. The application link will be available from December 2, 2018 - February 1, 2019. 

L2H scholarships are for Arkansas residents who will be full-time freshmen on the Jonesboro campus, have a minimum ACT score of 23 and a high school GPA of 3.25 or above. Also, please note the acceptable GPA has changed from 3.5 to 3.25 in an effort to accommodate more students, giving them the opportunity to receive one of these awards. The selection committee will evaluate demonstrated leadership qualities and student involvement.
