Congratulations to the Senior Mohawk Football Team for defeating Corning last night and being 2018 Rice Bowl Champs, Clay County Champs and headed to the State Playoffs next Friday.  Way to go, guys!

PACE Fundraiser orders will be delivered Tuesday. Please make arrangements to pick up your orders between 2:30-5:30 in my high school room.

FBLA members attending the Grizzlies game will meet in the library during activity period on Friday, Nov. 2.

There will be a meeting with everyone involved with the Powderpuff Volleyball game during Actilvity period today in Mrs. Little's room. This includes: players, coaches, line refees, concession workers  gate workers and anyone else who is involved.  This is a mandatory meeting, all must attend.  If you are going on the FBLA Grizzlies game trip, go by that meeting first.

There will be a Drama Club meeting in the library during activity period on Monday. All students who want to attend the Nutcracker field trip are required to attend. We will also be talking about the status of the fall production. See Miss Vernon if you have questions."

Spanish club is selling Mexican hot chocolate $2 and chocolate skulls $1. These will be distributed on during 7th period on Friday , November 2nd 

FCCLA is sponsoring a Powderpuff Volleyball Game. The dates are this Friday, November 2 and the Battle of the Sexes will be next Monday, November 5. Games still starting at 6:00.  Admission is $4 for adults and $3 for students

Registration without late fees Deadline for the Dec. 8 ACT that will be given at PHS is TODAY Friday, Nov. 2.  

Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts will have a representative here on Tuesday, Nov. 6 at 9:25 for 8th, 9th, & 10th graders interested in hearing about their school.  Let Mrs. Amber know if you would like to go to the presentation.

**The ASVAB test (for all juniors) is scheduled for next Wednesday Nov. 7.

Who's who assembly will be next Thursday, Nov. 8 during activity period.

TEACHERS: A list of FBLA members who will be attending the Memphis Grizzlies Pro Sports Career Day on Wednesday, November 7 has been sent to your email.. These students will be dismissed at 11:00 a.m. through the rest of the day.

"DRAMA CLUB MEMBERS:  If you have not returned your slip from the letter distributed at the last meeting, tickets will not be ordered for you to attend trips. At this point four tickets for Les Mis have not been claimed. They will be sold on a first come first served basis. They are $37.25." 

Seniors:  Deadline for Senior Ads for the Yearbook online is November 16.  

Seniors:  The Hagan Scholarship is available online.  Application deadline is November 15, 2018.  Application and eligibility requirements are online at www.hsfmo.org

Seniors:  American Legion scholarship application is available in Mrs. Amber's office.  Must be child, grandchild, or great grandchild of American Legionnaire.  Application must be received at their department on or before March 12, 2019.

SENIORS: Seven License2HOWL Scholarships are available for the 2018-19 academic year for incoming freshmen at Arkansas State University. These scholarships are valued at $5,000 for the year and are renewable for recipients who continue to meet criteria and re-apply.Beginning this year, we will be utilizing the application process for incoming freshmen through the University’s privately funded scholarship process. The application link will be available from December 2, 2018 - February 1, 2019. 

L2H scholarships are for Arkansas residents who will be full-time freshmen on the Jonesboro campus, have a minimum ACT score of 23 and a high school GPA of 3.25 or above. Also, please note the acceptable GPA has changed from 3.5 to 3.25 in an effort to accommodate more students, giving them the opportunity to receive one of these awards. The selection committee will evaluate demonstrated leadership qualities and student involvement.
