7-11th Grade School Pictures will be taken on Tuesday, Sept. 11
Senior Composite Pictures will be taken on Wednesday, Sept. 12.
Sr High Football will travel to Brookland on Friday to play the Bearcats at 7:00 p.m. Go Mohawks!
The Yearbook Staff will be meeting in the computer lab during activity period every day.
**DRAMA CLUB MEMBERS: Miss Vernon is calling a special meeting due to the fact Les Mis tickets are going on sale to the public on the 14th. We need to reserve tickets now if we're going. All students who wish to attend the Les Mis field trip must attend the meeting in the library on Friday, Sept. 7.
Historians Officers will meet in Mr. Harryman's room during activity period on Friday.
Sr Volleyball will meet during activity period on Friday.
FCCLA Officers meeting in the FCS room during actilvity period Monday, Sept. 10th.
Chess practice in Ms. Penny Toombs' room (across from the cafeteria) Wednesday after school until 4:30.
It is time to join FCCLA! 9th through 12th graders interested in joining FCCLA see Mrs. Little. Dues are $15.00.
There will be a PACE meeting during activity period on Tuesday, Sept. 11.
Those 9th-12th graders interested in helping with the Clay County Fair Youth Day on Friday September 14 must be a member of FCCLA. Dues must be paid by this Friday September 7 to be considered. See Mrs. Little to join and for more information.
If you plan to take Driver's Test in September, please see Mrs. Shamala to get your name on the list for paperwork.
FBLA dues are $10 and can be paid to Mrs. Peters through the end of October. Those who wish to attend Fall Conference at ASU in Jonesboro must pay their dues plus $5 registration no later than September 18.
This is a reminder for any 9th grade student who was invited to join Beta: you need to see Mrs. Coomer or Mrs. Flowers and return your forms and dues as soon as possible.
Any 10th, 11th, or 12th grade student who was not previously invited to join Beta who believes that he or she now has the grades to be eligible may bring a copy of his or her transcript to Mrs. Flowers by Friday, September 14.
12th, 11th, and 10th graders who previously joined Beta need to turn in their $10 dues to Mrs. Flowers or Mrs. Coomer by the end of September.
Teachers: Progress Report Grades must be in the computer by Tuesday, Sept. 11. Progress reports on Thursday, Sept. 13.
7th/Jr/Sr Volleyball will play at Harrisburg on Monday, Sept.10 at 4:30. Dismiss at 1:30.

Seniors: A representative from Williams Baptist University will be here on September 24 during activity period in the library.
**The blood drive is scheduled for October 2.
Seniors: ASU representative will be here on Oct 2 during activity period in the library for seniors interested.
**College Fair is October 16 from 12:30 - 3:00 (seniors will go first, then juniors, then sophomores on the honor roll)
Jostens will be here on Wednesday, October 17 for the Jr/ Sr preview day and back on the following Wednesday, October 24 to take orders.
**The ASVAB test (for juniors) is scheduled for November 7. It will start when the bell rings for school to start and usually lasts until around 11:30.
