Please excuse the  Mohawk Baseball Team for the State Tournament this Thursday. The team will be out Wednesday and Thursday.

Tennis Signups will be this Friday during Activity period for students entering the 9th - 12th grade in Coach Seegraves' office.  Also signups for Summer League Tennis for grades 8th-12th grade in Coach Seegraves' office.

 There will be a meeting on this Friday, May 11 during activity period for all 8-11th graders (Girls and Boys) who would like to play Golf next school year in Coach Rabjohn's classroom #239.

Art students who are interested in taking advanced art classes next year need to see Mrs. Tate by Friday.  The portfolios for entry are due Wednesday, May 16th.

Senior Class Awards will be this Thursday morning during Graduation practice.     9-11th Grade class awards will be next Wednesday, May 16 and 7-8th Grade will be Thursday, May 17. Times to be announced later.

Gather your money to pay your balances, folks! The yearbooks will be distributed later this week (most likely Thursday afternoon). Students need to remember to pick up the EE when they get their report cards. Your book must be paid off before you can pick it up. We will have some extra yearbooks available on a first come first served basis. They will be $45 each. Make checks payable to Piggott High School. If you are unsure how much you owe, see Miss Vernon in Room 224 

ML Members who are eligible to attend the Spring trip to Ultimate Air in Jonesboro must have permission slips turned in to Mrs. Peters by next Wednesday, May 9.

Track awards ceremony will be Thursday night at 6pm in the high school cafeteria.

Students who were invited to join the ITS Troupe at last week's drama meeting, Miss Vernon has to receive back the bottom portion of your invitation indicating whether you want to join the honor society or not by the end of this week. Please make your dues check out to Piggott High School, not ITS. See Miss V. if you have questions.

The Spring Band Concert and Award Night will be Tuesday, May 15 at 6:00 p.m.

2018-19 Sophomores interested in being a part of the Congressional Youth Cabinet -- see Mrs. Amber for an application. Deadline is May 18, 2018.

Any student interested in free audiobook downloads to enjoy this summer needs to go by the library and see Mrs. Natalie.

Reminder:  Students are not to have food or drink in any classroom.  Please do not carry fountain soda cups or soda bottles into the main building in the morning or after lunch.  

Several College Algebra books have not been returned.  Please turn in books to Mrs. Crommie as soon as possible to avoid book charges.

Any student interested in taking the free ACT prep class there is a sign up sheet in Mrs. Amber's office.  It will be May 28 - June 8 - 9:00 am - 3:00pm.

Dress Code:  Remember the length of shorts and skirts cannot be higher than the length of a dollar bill above the kneecap.  Some of us may have grown taller since last fall.  Please check your length before you leave home. Also don't forget that no spaghetti straps or strapless tops and shirts worn with leggings must be fingertip length.

Any student planning to take the Driver's Test this Summer should see Mrs. Shamala to put their name on the list.  The forms will be filled out after Report Cards come out after school is out.

Did you forget to buy your yearbook? All yearbooks are now $45 and will be plain copies. Secure your copy of the 2018 PHS Mohawk today! See Miss V. in Room 224. 

Lost and Found has several items that have been turned in.  If you are missing a jacket or coat, please see Mrs. Shamala or Mrs. Conley.

SENIORS:  If you owe any debts to the school, such as, lunch charges, book damages or losses (not just this year), fundraising debts, sports debts (basketball shoes, cheer debts), yearbook charges, beta cords, etc., these must be paid before graduation in order to participate in the graduation ceremony. 

Seniors:  If you are attending Harding University, ASU Beebe, ASU Searcy or ASU Heber --- See Mrs. Amber for a Textbook Broker scholarship application.  Deadline May 31, 2018.

Seniors:  Williams Baptist University has Freshman Registration open from April 9th through May 15th.  You can call the Admissions office at 870-759-4120 to set up an appointment.
