Jostens will be here on Friday, December 8 to deliver Junior class rings. 

Please excuse the Girls Basketball teams at 2:30 on Friday(Today) to travel to Walnut Ridge. 

Beta members:  All fruit and meat not picked up yesterday must be picked up by the end of the day TODAY.

Congratulations to the 7th Grade and Senior High Basketball teams for defeating Walnut Ridge last night.  The defensive effort was outstanding.

Sr. High and ML FBLA members who want to come to the FBLA Christmas pizza party on Monday must bring their Children's Hospital donations to Mrs. Peters by the end of the day today.

All students and faculty are welcome to participate in the toys and toiletries drive. FBLA will be accepting donations through the end of the day next Tuesday.

Teachers:  The Absence Lists for this semester are on the counter in the office.  Please remember that absences through next Tuesday still count against exemption.  You also received a list of students who were Ready or Exceeding on the ACTAspire Tests last year.  These students will have one day taken off absences for this semester only.

Semester Test Review Day is Wednesday, Dec. 13, Students who are required to take semester test must be in class for review. If exempt, students do not have  attend.

The FBLA Christmas luncheons for ML and Senior High will be during their respective lunch periods in the library next Monday, Dec. 11. Members who wish to attend should bring at least two Arkansas Children’s Hospital donations to Mrs. Peters no later than  Friday this week.  

Students:  If you NEED a schedule change for next semester, you can pick up a schedule change form from outside Mrs. Conley's office.  Please remember that our master schedule might not allow the change or the class you would like may already be full. Forms should be turned in by Friday, Dec. 8.

The Art Club Christmas party will be December 12th during activity period.  

Students:  If you are planning to take the Driver's test in December, please see Mrs. Shamala about forms by Wednesday, Dec. 13.

Next Tuesday, Dec. 12 will be Piggott High School's Ugly Christmas Sweater/Outift day.

Any junior or senior who is interested in being a reading mentor at elementary school please see Mrs. Natalie.

Upcoming Band Events:   Supper with Santa will be Friday, December 8 at the Piggott Community Center from 5-7 p.m. $5 per person.

FBLA is once again sponsoring a toys and toiletries drive for Arkansas Children's Hospital. All students and faculty are encouraged to participate. A list of requested items is posted on the office window or you can pick one up from Mrs. Peters. Please keep in mind all items must be new. Donated items will be taken to Arkansas Children's during Christmas break.

Elementary Beta workers for  Thursday, December 7, are Trey Gossett, Isaac Langley, Louis Lin, and Hayley Springsteen. Students need to remember to sign in with Ms. Katina at elementary and sign in with Mrs. Sham when arriving at high school.

The 4H Youth Leadership team will be having a Penny Drive to benefit a needy family for Christmas.  There will be buckets in the office, library, and Mrs. Amber's office to donate.

Seniors:  We are taking a College Day to tour BRTC-Paragould, ASU-Jonesboro and back to ASU-Paragould. The date is pending right now.  Any senior who would like to go may take a college day. If you have already used your day, you may still go but it will be an absence.  We should return by 2:30.

Seniors:  Scholarship opportunity at www.theafoundation.org/scholarships. This is for any your artist, poet, fashion designer, performer, or filmmaker. You do not have to major in an art-related field.  This is good for any 2-yr or 4-yr college in AR.

Online orders may be paid with a debit or credit card, but be aware they will have 10% sales tax collected. Students:  Blankets are not permitted in class.

Students:  Only Basketball Players will get into Basketball games free.  Football and Volleyball players must pay admission. Also Band must pay unless in Pep Band and playing that night.

Students:  The new door locks are now working.  You have one minute after the tardy bell rings before the door locks re-engage.  You may have to walk around to the front doors unless you are walking in later with a teacher.  Please be diligent about getting where you are supposed to be in a timely manner.

Students:  When you arrive at school, you must come into the cafeteria.  Please do not stay in vehicles or walk off campus. Duty teachers will make room for you when you come in the doors.  Do NOT park in the VFW Building Parking Lot or by the Old Gym.

Students: Cell phones may used in the cafeteria ONLY- not in the hall way going to the cafeteria.
