Spanish Club Day of the Dead fest has been rescheduled to Wednesday, November 29th. Admission is $5 and $1 for face painting.

Students:  Only Basketball Players will get into Basketball games free.  Football and Volleyball players must pay admission.

Students:  Blankets are not permitted in class.
***SENIORS, remember all ad materials and your ad balance must be submitted to Miss Vernon by 3:00 p.m. this Friday, December 1.

Congratulations to the 7th Grade Girls Basketball Team for defeating Corning and Armorel during the break and Presley Tullos and Maddie Vanderkooi for participating in the Disney Thanksgiving Parade last week.  The Midsouth  Anti-Bullying Poster Winners in the 6th-8th Grade Division are 2nd place Scotty Garner and 3rd place Jake Williams.  In the 9th-12th Grade Division 1st place Georgina Bautista, 2nd place Jolie Owen, and 3rd place Maddie Vanderkooi.

Congratulations to Louis Lin for having his article "Turning Criticism into Critique in 'The Pride of Clay County'" in the December edition of Halftime Magazine.

Junior Class meeting Tuesday November 27th during activity period in the libarary.

FCCLA members there will be a FCCLA luncheon meeting Thursday, November 30 in the FCS room. Members must see Mrs. Little for details Teachers members will have a ticket to leave early for lunch.

Elementary Beta workers for  Thursday, November 30, are Erica Stahl, Jaclyn Helms, Katelyn Jackson, and Austin Johnson. Students need to remember to sign in with Ms. Katina at elementary and sign in with Mrs. Sham when arriving at high school.

FCCLA members The District 3 FCCLA Fall Leadership Conference will be held at the the Jonesboro High School Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, December 5.  

The 4H Youth Leadership team will be having a Penny Drive to benefit a needy family for Christmas.  There will be buckets in the office, library, and Mrs. Amber's office to donate.

Jostens will be here on Friday, December 8 to deliver Junior class rings.

Seniors:  We are taking a College Day to tour BRTC-Paragould, ASU-Jonesboro and back to ASU-Paragould. The date is pending right now.  Any senior who would like to go may take a college day. If you have already used your day, you may still go but it will be an absence.  We should return by 2:30.

Seniors:  Scholarship opportunity at www.theafoundation.org/scholarships. This is for any your artist, poet, fashion designer, performer, or filmmaker. You do not have to major in an art-related field.  This is good for any 2-yr or 4-yr college in AR.

Online orders may be paid with a debit or credit card, but be aware they will have 10% sales tax collected. Books ordered at high school will not have sales tax collected on them. Please make checks payable to Piggott High School. The yearbook staff and Miss Vernon thank you in advance for your continued support of our publication. 

*****************************************************************************FBLA FBLA will sell cookies at the beginning of 7th period  on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays to classrooms. Cookies are still $.75 each. We may not make it to every class every time we sell, but will alternate to make sure we get to every class at least once each week. 

Students:  The new door locks are now working.  You have one minute after the tardy bell rings before the door locks re-engage.  You may have to walk around to the front doors unless you are walking in later with a teacher.  Please be diligent about getting where you are supposed to be in a timely manner.

Do not knock loudly on or pull on the outside doors.  The doors are being damaged.  You will be responsible for any damages to the doors plus suspension.

Students:  When you arrive at school, you must come into the cafeteria.  Please do not stay in vehicles or walk off campus. Duty teachers will make room for you when you come in the doors.  Do NOT park in the VFW Building Parking Lot or by the Old Gym.

Students: Cell phones may used in the cafeteria ONLY- not in the hall way going to the cafeteria.
