March 16, 2020
During this time don’t make any wrong choices. If you are playing a spring sport,
you can’t play for any non AAA sanctioned team or any other team.
Example: HS Baseball player goes and plays a travel ball tournament.
This player will become ineligible. Same sport in the same season rule.

The Piggott School District will hand our breakfast and lunch behind the elementary school through Friday. Breakfast may be picked up between 7:30 and 8:30 each morning and lunch between 11:30 and 12:30. If you are unable to pick up breakfast or lunch, please contact cafeteria director Sherry Taylor at 598-4015 to set up delivery. We offer a big “thanks” to everyone for helping at this time.

The Parent/Teacher conference for Thursday, March 19 has been cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date.  I will continue to update you as we are made aware of any changes.

Due to evolving concerns related to the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), the City of Piggott
has announced that it will be closing City Hall, the Community Center, Independence Baseball Park
and all other City buildings to the public beginning Tuesday, March 17th, 2020 until further notice.
All public city meetings, including March’s City Council meeting, will be postponed and rescheduled
for a later date as the situation evolves.
