TEACHERS:  Progress Report Grades must be in the computer by the end of the day on Tuesday, Feb. 4.  Progress Reports will go home on Thursday, Feb. 6.

eSports will meet after school on Tuesdays and Thursday in the Computer Lab.

ACT for Juniors is February 25

Archery practice after school at 4:30 today-Wednesday

FCCLA is raising money to help our local Women's shelter. Two boys per grade and three boys for Seniors  have been chosen to help with this by carrying buckets for donations. One boy per grade will be the beau for their grade, this is determined by which boy raises the most money. The Seniors will have a beau and a king.  So, help vote for these guys with your money to see who will be your class beau and who will be the Senior King.

There will be an FCA meeting on Wednesday during activity period in the Old Gym.

Special Olympic pictures for the yearbook will be taken on Wednesday, February 5, during activity period in the New Gym.

DRAMA CLUB: Students who intend to go on the field trip on Feb. 27th must have HALF of their ticket money ($21.50) to Miss Vernon by the end of the day on Friday, Feb. 14th. The other half will be due the day before we go (Wednesday, Feb. 26th). You will need money for lunch that day (approximately $20 should do it) and any souvenirs you want to buy. Miss Vernon will have permission slips ready for pickup by this Friday (Feb. 8th). See Miss Vernon with any questions.

FBLA is selling cookies by the dozen and half-dozen to be delivered on Valentine's Day with all proceeds going to Make A Wish. If any of you would like to order you can send me an email. Money and orders due this Friday, February 7.

This week is FBLA week. --Wednesday members should wear their t-shirts. ---Thursday, members who have participated in the activities and online contests will be put into drawing for cash and candy prizes throughout the day. Middle Level members will have their ice cream social during activity period in the library as well.---- Due to the pep rally conflict during activity. ---On Friday, the Sr. High FBLA ice cream social has been moved to immediately follow the pep rally, still being held in the library. The students will be releasesd all at once when everyone has finished. There will be an announcement made when students will be returning to class.

Today is FBLA t shirt day. Any member grades 7-12 who is wearing your shirt should go by Mrs. Peters’s classroom and ask for a ticket to enter Thursday’s drawing.

Please excuse the following FBLA members to assist the Make A Wish team with Daddy/Daughter dance preparations this Friday, Feb. 7: Mycah Blascoe, Natalie Boyd, Elise Gossett, and Micha Harrell.

There will be a Pep Rally for Senior recognition on Friday, Feb 7 during activity period.

There will be a Jr. High Softball meeting for girls in grades 7 and 8 who are interested in playing on Monday during activity period in the Middle Gym.

****Seniors:  The MFA scholarship application is available in Mrs. Amber's office.  The committee will consider scholastic progress, citizenship, extracurricular activities, educational plans, and financial need.  Deadline is March 13, 2020.  Turn in applications to Mrs. Amber.

FBLA Middle Level members attending the conference tomorrow, don't forget to be in the new gym lobby by 7:15. The bus will leave at 7:20! --  The following 7-8 grade FBLA members will be attending the District II Leadership Conference on Wednesday, February 5. All Senior Profiles should have been turned in to Mrs. Natalie no later than Thursday, Jan. 23.   If you haven't turned in your profile, see Mrs. Natalie ASAP.

Students interested in applying for the "Future Agents in Training" classes, see Mrs. Amber.  The classes will be April 10, 17, and 24th in Fort Smith, AR.  Applications are due Feb 6.  You must be 16 years old to enroll.

Blood Drive will be Wednesday, February 12.  See Mrs. Amber to sign-up.  16 year olds must have a permission slip signed.  Mrs. Amber has the permission slips in her office.

***Juniors:  If you are planning on participating in Prom this year, you must pay your dues by February 28. Only Juniors with at least $40 dues paid will be able to vote for prom themes and participate on committees.

SPORTS THIS WEEK:  SENIOR NIGHT - Friday 2/7 Jr/Sr/Girls/Boys beginning at 4:30 -SrRecognition between Jr Boys and Sr Girls game approximately 6:30 vs. Rector

Reminder from Mr. Seegraves:  Pajama bottoms, pajama tops, house shoes, and blankets are  NOT permitted per student handbook.

LOST AND FOUND: There are several items that have been turned in to the office.  If you are missing a jacket or other item, please check in the office ASAP.

MICROWAVES IN THE CAFETERIA - Students please wipe out the microwaves in the cafeteria after using.  This is not the cafeteria workers responsibility.  If you use the microwaves, please help us to be able to keep them by doing your part. Thank you.

Seniors:  If you are a child, grandchild, or great grandchild of an American Legionnaire.  Stepchildren of living Legionnaires may apply if their parent is currently married to the Legion member.  Children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren of deceased Legionnaires are also eligible.  See Mrs. Amber for an application.  Application and documents must be received by March 13, 2020.
