Congratulations to the Jr High Girls Basketball team for defeating Osceola.

There will be an Art Club meeting on Friday, Jan. 31 in the New Gym.  The Art Club picture will be taken at this time.  All members should attend.

Last chance to order a personalized yearbook is this Friday, Jan. 31. Yearbooks now start at $45. Order forms were sent home this week or you can order online at Jostens.com

No chess practice this Tuesday, February 4th.

Please excuse the following students Jan 31st to compete at the UACCB Electricity Contest: Ethan Ralph, Bryon Poole, Logan White, Gabe Hackworth.

TEACHERS:  Progress Report Grades must be in the computer by the end of the day on Tuesday, Feb. 4.  Progress Reports will go home on Thursday, Feb. 6.

eSports will meet after school on Tuesdays and Thursday in the Computer Lab.

Next week is FBLA week. Monday will be Hat Day for all students. FBLA officers will sell stickers to each classroom during activity period. All proceeds will be donated to March of Dimes. Tuesday will be Minute to Win It games in the library during activity period for all Senior High and middle level members. Wednesday members should wear their t-shirts. Thursday, members who have participated in the activities and online contests will be put into drawing for cash and candy prizes throughout the day. Middle Level members will have their ice cream social during activity period in the library as well. Friday, Senior High members are invited to their ice cream social during activity period.

The following 7-8 grade FBLA members will be attending the District II Leadership Conference on Wednesday, February 5. All Senior Profiles should have been turned in to Mrs. Natalie no later than Thursday, Jan. 23.   If you haven't turned in your profile, see Mrs. Natalie ASAP.

Middle Level FBLA competitors need to turn in their permission forms for their district conferences to Mrs. Peters as soon as possible. 

There will be a Jr Historians meeting during activity period. on Monday, Feb. 3 in Mr. Harryman's room #207

There will be a PHS Drama Club meeting in the new gym during activity period on Tuesday, Feb. 4th. We will be taking our group photo and discussing a potential field trip at the end of the month. Don't forget! Please report to the gym as quickly as possible!

Students interested in applying for the "Future Agents in Training" classes, see Mrs. Amber.  The classes will be April 10, 17, and 24th in Fort Smith, AR.  Applications are due Feb 6.  You must be 16 years old to enroll.

Blood Drive will be Wednesday, February 12.  See Mrs. Amber to sign-up.  16 year olds must have a permission slip signed.  Mrs. Amber has the permission slips in her office.

***Juniors:  If you are planning on participating in Prom this year, you must pay your dues by February 28. Only Juniors with at least $40 dues paid will be able to vote for prom themes and participate on committees.

Reminder from Mr. Seegraves:  Pajama bottoms, pajama tops, house shoes, and blankets are  NOT permitted per student handbook.

LOST AND FOUND: There are several items that have been turned in to the office.  If you are missing a jacket or other item, please check in the office ASAP.

MICROWAVES IN THE CAFETERIA - Students please wipe out the microwaves in the cafeteria after using.  This is not the cafeteria workers responsibility.  If you use the microwaves, please help us to be able to keep them by doing your part. Thank you.

 Seniors:  SEMO is hosting  Show Me Days on Feb 17 and March 28.  You can register at semo.edu/showmeday

Seniors:  If you are a child, grandchild, or great grandchild of an American Legionnaire.  Stepchildren of living Legionnaires may apply if their parent is currently married to the Legion member.  Children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren of deceased Legionnaires are also eligible.  See Mrs. Amber for an application.  Application and documents must be received by March 13, 2020.
