Congratulations to the Boys' Tennis team for winning the District Championship with a Record of 20-1 *Shawn-Hudson Seegraves was District Singles Champion, *Brandon Palmer District Runner-up Singles, **Cooper Harris and Michael Palmer District Doubles Champions, **Hayden Blue and Chandler Smart- Dist Doubles 3rd place *-State Bound - State Tournament Oct. 14 and 15 in NLR.
Congratulations to the Girls' Tennis Team for being District Runner-up with a record of 14-8-1. **Destini Chase and Callie Henson were District Doubles Runner-up, **Brooke Roberts and Macey Williams were District Doubles 3rd place, Maggie Williams Singles 4th place and Shi Higdon Singles 6th place.
Congratulations to the Senior Girls Volleyball Team for defeating Cedar Ridge.
Congratulations to the 7th Gr/Jr High Football Teams for defeating Harrisburg.
Flu shots will be given at Piggott High School on Tuesday, October 8. Flu shot consent forms are available in the high school office.
Josten's will return next Wednesday,October 9 to take orders for Jr Rings and Senior Items.

The College Fair at PHS will be Tuesday, Oct 15 from 9:00-11:00.

The following seniors have not turned in baby pictures for the yearbook. You have until Nov. 4 to get them turned in to Mrs. Natalie. Megan Burke, Jamara Ball, Lucas Chase, Austyn Crow, Destany Graves, Hayden Jackson, Amber Reed, Haley Shumate, Daniel Spinks, and Taylor Williamson.
Seniors: Williams Baptist University is offering a Williams Works program. This is a work initiative starting next fall at Williams Baptist University that will cover the cost of education and give you the opportunity to graduate debt free. The student needs to apply for admissions and the Williams Works program. The minimum ACT is a 19 and they must have their FAFSA complete by January.
Any Beta member who would like to run for an office needs to see Mrs. Flowers to pick up an application. Applications are due by Wednesday, October 16.

Any FBLA member interested in attending the Memphis Grizzlies' Pro Sports Career Day on November 6 should turn in forms and money no later than October 16.
All FBLA members attending Fall Conference in Jonesboro next Thursday, October 10, MUST turn in Signed permission slips by TODAY Friday this week. Teachers: There is a list in your email of all the FBLA members who will gone next Thursday.
Matthew Cheshire will be out October 8th and 9th for State Golf.

Seniors: If you are a child, grandchild, or great grandchild of an American Legionnaire. Stepchildren of living Legionnaires may apply if their parent is currently married to the Legion member. Children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren of deceased Legionnaires are also eligible. See Mrs. Amber for an application. Application and documents must be received by March 13, 2020.

Seniors: The Horatio Alger Scholarship is available online at scholars.horatioalger.org - deadline is October 25.
Student Essay/Speaking Contest – Entry Deadline Oct. 23rd. For the second year, the Arkansas School Boards Association is holding a personal essay/speaking contest where 11th and 12th grade students will have an opportunity to present before an audience of more than 600 school board members and administrators during the ASBA Annual Conference, held December 11-13, 2018 at the Marriott Hotel and Statehouse Convention Center in downtown Little Rock.
